Thanks for the much needed comedy relief while troubleshooting my pc issues. While I didn’t get what I needed out of this particular video, it was very descriptive for someone that may be experiencing boot issues.
@@oliverzimr6826 hello mate, I ended up taking my pc to an expert and he sorted it out for me but the problem I had was faulty ram. I don’t know if that will be the same for you but something to consider 👍
Don’t I have to take put any other SSDS/hard drives before I put a new SSD in? Or can I just leave the SSDS that were already in my pc there without touching then
I followed the steps but no where did it show how to turn on a drive just change priority I did that and both showed up and I still can’t access my drive
Hello I love your videos I have a question I installed a new hard drive in a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop but I keep getting a message primary drive 0 and primary drive 1 not found the hard drive is a Seagate IDE hard drive can you help thanks
Thanks, sorry for the late response. You mention Seagate IDE, that's an extremely old hard drive. If memory serves, IDE drives have jumps you may have to adjust in addition to the BIOS. I would try researching that.
I'm facing a problem where after plugging in a new hdd to my PC it's not detecting the keyboard and mouse which I need to click install (Zorin OS on bootable USB) please help
i really hate how complecated building or maintaining pc is even as a developer. it's something you don't deal a lot with. i added new ssd and when checking bios settings i see lots of drives than i have no idea what the heck are they and thier names are just. just want to thanks for the video.
Hello mate, how I shud set up bios so when I clone my hdd it will work on other laptops? Can u help Plz? I recently changed my laptop to a mini pc and whatever I try my cloned hdd is not working on my students laptops. Many thanks
Hello I just bought an HDD and I have connect it to the power supply and MB. When start the pc in the box button the image for the BIOS (The press DEL) does not show up. If I unplug the HDD everything happens has supposed. Any idea why the screen turns black when connecting HDD ? Thank you!
Thanks! It is a Sovol SV01, it's a pretty solid middle range printer with most features you want. The only thing you're missing is an auto leveling bed. Maybe for 3d printing videos. I took a break from printing for awhile because frankly it was pissing me off. 3d printing is cool, but damn can it be frustrating dealing with all the issues that come up.
@@Compulsion84 Haha fair enough! I know the feeling; It took me a year to figure out all the kinks in my Creality ender 3. Works well now but I had a few months there I couldn't even look at the thing without getting pissed. Ca'nt wait to see your next vid man, keep it up!
You'll get the drive setup and recognized in the BIOS, see the video in the description if you need help with that. Next, you'll want to load into the windows installed through usb or cd. When you're in the installer, just pick your new M2 drive as the location. It should show you all available drives ad options.
Most ports are full speed, I think it's pretty rare to have any issues. I would always recommend checking your motherboard manual just to be safe. It definitely doesn't need to be port 1 or anything though.
I hate to be that guy but When I go into my HP BIOS with F10 it does not even have a section for me to view the HDD. Am I missing something or does Windows 10 BIOS have another hidden menu? I am rocking an HP Omen Obelisk 875 Desktop. The funny thing is it was working before and my power cord was knocked out the wall and I turned it back on and it stopped working
So - here's a question. Say I install Win 10 or Win 11 on my nice new Samsung M2 drive.... and I also want to occasionally dual boot other LINUX versions on totally separate SSD units ? How do I protect the contents of the Samsung M2 drive - so I don't screw up the MBR or the OS ?
you won't. just triple check drives names and letters and make sure, if you have the option, to name them something very different from each other. Linux is the *best*!
You might try removing your drive and reinstalling it. Also check for settings to enable the drive or maybe "enable M.2 drives" or something like that. Some bios have weird settings.
