Hi Pradip, I have the same setup as you with chrome cast. But when using the mic the sound is very faint. Even when turning the mic level on the way up. I’m not sure what I’m missing. Any suggestions?

does your mixer or the microphone have the key option for adjusting (up (sharp) or down (flat)) the voice pitch ? If yes, what is the brand and model of your mixer ?

Hi. What you can do is connect the Roku Ultra to your mixer instead. And the moving forward, you can just use that set-up every time you need to use your Roku. You simply need to turn on your Mixer to use Roku. In your AV Receiver, your input must be coming from the Mixer. Hope that makes sense.

The phone is optional if you are using firestick since the fire stick can already play a youtube video. Hi. You have to pick the video that has a different key. You can normally tell this based on the title of the video. You cannot select the key from 1 video alone. Some songs may not have a video with different keys.

@@MabuhayKaraoke Thanks for the reply kabayan. Here are my devices: I use a smart tv with HDMI-arc+optical output; rybozen soundmixer(HDMI and AV ports only) and a samsung q700 soundbar that only supports hdmi and optical. Do i need converters?

You can control the volume through the mixer. Lower the mic and higher the music.

I haven’t tried using it but as long as it has the inputs needed i would think it will work.

Which audio is out of synch? Is it the vocals or the music or both?

@@MabuhayKaraoke I have a Onkyo receiver which I connect to the TV. I have a karaoke mixer which I have connected to the Onkyo via CBL/SAT. However, the connection of the tv to Onkyo is via an optical cable. When I play the karaoke on the tv it uses optical cable sound output and bypasses the mixer.

I tried it your way and connected the chrome cast to the karaoke mixer but I only got the sound via CBL/SAT but on image on the TV. But when I played RU-vid on the TV via airplay I didn’t get the sound from my karaoke mixer.

Then. Used a roku stick and put it hdmi in of the mixer. Set up was ok with video on tv screen and sound coming from sound bar. just have 1 big problem with mic wireless sound when singing. There is a lag about 1/2 to 1 second when I’m using my voice to sing on the mics. How do I fix this? Some people from mixer review on amazon say it’s because of the wireless mics. Maybe it’s because mixer not connected to mixer? Would buying a wired mic and putting it into the mixer correct this lag problem? Or buy a audio converter and connecting it to the sound bar separately and then the wireless mics will work with no more lag with my voice? Ive already spent $100 buying the mixer & wireless mics so if I need to buy another device whether its wired mics or audio converter, I just want to make sure it will work so I don’t waste time & money. Please help me with this so I can really start enjoying singling karaoke again. Thanks
