I followed each of your steps but when I got to connecting the database to the webspace of ionos, I got stuck because I am getting "This site can’t provide a secure connection" result page when I am visiting my domain. @@bentech-s Interserver, but getting the SFTP key looks more complicated than IONOS. I was only able to use FTP with Filezilla. Thanks for the other video showing how to set up the Secure FTP on IONOS.
i cant seem to see any hosting option in the menu that has domain, ssl, website and stores and when i want to create using wordpress it takes me off to another page that will ask you to buy their managed wordpress package

@@bentech-s its still similar thing, when i click create website with wordpress instead of taking me to where i will select my domain it takes me to a different page.
that other video you linked was helpful, but when I was on the "create a website" page it only gives the option for a "managed wordpress (new and improved)" no options for a free wordpress. maybe they changed this free option? :'(
Much better management as far as i can tell since IONOS will assume a lot of info.. at least as far as I can tell, I just used there "Quick easy wordpress install wizard" - which did indeed easily set up wordpress - but it gave me no way to change theme etc etc
