Manito idk if you’ll read this, but I remember discovering your channel when you dropped your first arcropolis/atmosphere guide 2 years ago, and it really encouraged me to mod my switch, and make a couple smash mods myself. It’s been a little over a year since I’ve stopped doing anything modding, or really switch related, as I’ve been going through College now. But just today, this evening, I had to the random urge to dust off my switch, and reinstall arcropolis, along with all my old mods. I just got off now, and after not seeing your channel since one of your Metroid Dread livestreams, THIS was the first video in my recommended. In fact, this video was uploaded at almost the EXACT same time I started reinstalling. Anyways, I just thought that was super weird, and felt like sharing. ssbu keeps crashing and it doesnt even show the smash logo on the bottom right corner. It gives me this message: "software was closed because an error occurred." Please help!!!
hey man, thanks for the guide but I'm having a problem where my switch won't let me open smash in atmosphere, saying an update needs to be downloaded even though I'm fully up to date on smash and on the system. I've tried all the sigpatches i've seen online but nothing's working
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Just one quick thing. Hekate is now on 6.1.0 and when I try to boot through Hekate it says no main boot entries found. But I can still get into CFW with using fusee when injecting the payload. How do i fix this? if you know how and you definitely earned a sub from me too!
I would love to do this though I'm unsure if OLED is able to, I may have to copy the files for PC, though I've haven't had time to sit down and test or do anything like that yet... @@SlickNy23 It's as if it's as simple as getting it and plugging it in to us it. It may be cheep for the chip, but the sauteing equipment and the practice not to brick you system is kinda hmm hard and expensive.
See I don’t know the process for the V2 and OLED switch because I have a modded V1 switch that was unpatched, so I did the rum method and now I boot mines up into cfw
im having mild issues with actually getting it to recognise i’m on 13.0.2 like when i boot into the stock system it reads the game as being in 13.0.2 but when i try to load it with cfw it still thinks that my copy of ultimate is 13.0.1 any clue on how to fix it??
Hey I did everything in the video as far as the other video like modding the switch etc. I came here and did everything as well, but correct me if I’m wrong, the acropolis folder isn’t supposed to be in the Ultimate folder alongside the mods folder right? Cause after I put my mods in and started the game up I gotten an error message as the game trying to start and I’m stuck on that part… is there any solution to fix this issue?
Upon first boot of ultimate with arcropolis, it’ll create the arcropolis folder in the ultimate folder so just leave that there. What’s the error message?
when mods are disabled it adds a . to the beginning of the folder name. Access your SD card via ftp or USB (it's quicker than ejecting), go to ultimate/mods/ and add a . to the beginning of the mod folder
I tried following your guide, but when I boot up Smash, its like my mod folder isn't there at all. No confirmation, no Acropolis version on the title screen, nothing. I've double checked my file paths and nothing seems out of place. What should I do?
I've never understood Nintendo's alienation towards u.g.c, mods, etc. Oh no, God forbid our users have FUN! What can you expect from a corporation atp, though?
Sure it could be faster, but then I’d have to cut out a lot of explanations such as file conflicts or how to move mods to other slots. Some of my video guides need more explanations because I try to break things down for those that don’t have much experience with this. Many people don’t cover things like this for noobs and just show the basics of setting up mods and that’s it. Not much help afterwards. If a user wants to skip certain parts they can, and they can use the timestamps/chapters
Is it safe to go online if you’re running on Atmosphere firmware, but you hold down on the L button to load vanilla ultimate? (Or any vanilla game holding L for that matter?)
Yes and it’s also fine to use WiFi safe B mods online. I only show a glimpse of it at the beginning so Nintendo can’t take down the video because of modded gameplay footage
Why the fu** are you deleting all of your videos? You even deleted Mario kart 8 deluxe video showing how to install mods. This video is a reupload from a video u deleted like 2 years ago, you're basically breaking the TOS by continually deleting videos and re-uploading it.
Ackshually 🤓 this isn’t a reupload. It may look similar to my older video but it’s a new guide made from the ground up. New footage, new voiceover, etc. I didn’t delete my Mario kart video btw, it’s still up. Nintendo has taken down some of my content and I’ve had to make new versions of past videos and do them differently. I hope this answers your questions. Have a good one and God bless
Do you have a moddable or already modded switch? Follow my atmosphere video guide in the description, it’ll be a little more tedious if you only use a phone for file downloads and file management but it’s possible. Just make sure to get a rcm payload app if you’re using Android and use that instead of tegrarcmgui. If you’re using an apple phone I don’t think it’s possible

I got ARCropolis to work and I can visibly see my mods with a checkmark next to them in the Mod Manager menu, but none of them are showing up in the actual game.?
not sure if it's a question you can answer, but my switch tends to crash after 20-30 mins or so. I'm only using skin mods, so I'm not sure why it crashes.
hey guys! If you’re getting the error “software closed because an error has occurred you’re likely missing the “libsmashline_plugin.nro”file in your skyline plugins folder. This is important to load certain mods.
I kept getting the error message, "Software was closed because an error occurred." I tried reinstalling Arcropolis and Skyline multiple times, but the issue persisted. What finally worked for me was this: when I added the "Ultimate/mods" folder to the root of my SD card, some old files from a previous installation appeared. I deleted the entire "Ultimate/mods" folder and recreated it from scratch. After that, everything worked fine.
yo, i've done everything in this and the how to install atmosphere video, and when i launch atmosphere everything works until after the switch logo shows up my switch just shuts down

before i launch the game it says “Some necessary data could not be found. It will be downloaded now.” is it safe to download this? mods worked when i pressed start software but i’m afraid they won’t if i download the data, & afraid i’ll get banned.
want to do this so bad but still so cautious about my switch getting banned. I don’t plan on playing with mods online or sharing screenshots of anything. just anxious is all.
Everything works fine I singleplayer. But when I try to access local wireless and create a room I get stuck on a forever loading screen. I've looked into the issue and it seems to be caused by skyline, one person even saying it's an intended feature to avoid bans. I've definitely seen people use skin mods in multiplayer before and am wondering how they get around skyline's restriction.
Not sure if this is a common problem but even after following the other guide I'm somehow missing the "contents" folder in the atmosphere folder. anyone have any fixes for this?
@@MarkerMonsterArt atmosphere does not include a contents folder. If you setup arcropolis correctly (as shown in the video) it will put a contents folder in your atmosphere folder. Use the video as a visual reference on what to do. Hope this helps!

Please, do you know how to load an external SSBU save on my CFW switch ? I'm trying to mod another switch and I need a 100% save but I don't have the 01006A800016E000 folder in atmosphere/contents I know I can create the folder but that doesn't work !! I've tried to load said save with JKSV but that doesn't work too

Yes they’re still up to date. Just make sure you use the latest release of atmosphere cfw(and fusee.bin), arcropolis, and skyline. The setup process is still the same, just make sure you are using the latest release of everything. Your chances of being banned are very slim as many people, myself included, play modded smash online regularly. Stay away from illegitimate game copies 🏴☠️, cheating online, and you should be good
you help me alot but now i got a problem. i want to install movesets like Vegito. I load everything but my switch gets each time an Error when i try to start the game
I turned off my switch after trying to delete instant attack pack because I kept getting an error message. After I did, I tried to reload fusee.bin to reload atmosphere but it only loads into Hekate? Is there anything you can do to help me? I can’t reaccess atmosphere
I just wanna let anyone know, I fixed this issue do to bad design on the tegrarcmgui app. I clicked the fusee.bin and it highlighted blue but it did not actually select it, you had to double click it for it to work. As for it crashing, I have the training modpack and when I deleted the nrohook, the training modpack was crashing my game. Hope this helps anyone who might have this kind of issue.

As I mention early on in the video, you are at a risk of ban in using mods. However many people play with mods on the daily and haven’t been banned. I have used mods for over 2 years now and haven’t been banned. Use WiFi safe cosmetic mods when playing with random people online and you’ll be fine. If you want to use mods that aren’t WiFi safe, you can do so in offline modes without the risk of a ban. You can also use non WiFi safe mods online in arenas if the people you’re playing with also have the same non WiFi safe mods
After I startet the USB file transfer I couldn't copy any files to the mod folder. What's the problem? edit: I'm lazy and didn't wanna follow the guide completely and it was my fault, it's working now xD
