Did you switch? I'm in the same boat, I have used a Samsung since the beginning and I want to switch to iPhone now. How was the switch, if you made it?
@@cross_fire_ I did. It worked. I however skipped pictures and movies and just subscribed to DropBox (or any cloud storage) to store everything I had saved. My wife used Google to still access photos and videos, and can still be accessed on IPhone. It will save you hours of transfer if you have a cloud solution already in place for big files.
@@MAKAKAKAKA4KOOOO yeah , by mistake i just transferred contacts. Now any external vendor could have sll the data if i use anyother form . Is this copy my data, from apple? Could u send some screenshot or link please
Thank you for the useful and clear tutorial. I don't have that much Data in my internal storage on LG G7, but it takes for hours to transfer slowly to the new iPhone 13 MP. I wonder if the Move to IOS App recognises and harvests photos from the SD card too?
I have done this 6 times and it stops every time at 3 minutes until finished and doesn't move! So this isn't working with the app. I don't know what to do..ugh
@Andrea Yost Yes. I found that the app says it didn't work or stalls but when you cancel it and go look it all transferred. I found that the 12 times I tried added everything 12 times. Insanely stupid app 😆 🤣 I had to delete it all and do it again. So check because that made me crazy 🤪 😜 🙃
Me too. Certainly did not get a smooth transition like this video shows. I have been at it for a few days. Even the Apple Genius Bar can't help. Very frustrating 😡
@@suzettejaundoo9477 I have the same problem.. even apple techs not able to help. Says it will take 5 hours for dada transfer and then shows interrupt after 20 minutes.😡
What can you do if you didn't select the option to transfer when you initially turned your iphone 13 on and set it up? I am really struggling to transfer messages contacts images etc from ym Samsung s8 plus to my iphone 13 now and the copy my data app doesn't seem to work either. I have been searching on Google for a way to transfer all day. I must say your video is very helpful if only I knew how to start again! I tried to sign out of the iPhone hoping it would bring me back to the first stage when you turn the iPhone on for the first time but no luck! Please can someone help me thank you ✌🙂
Can someone help me? I try transferring data from android to Iphone and after 45 min - 1hour, it says 'an error has occurred' . I click OK and then I have to restart it all over again.. Is there any way to fix it?

Doesn't work. I have 120gb of stuff to transfer over and I left it for 12 hours. The progress bar just stayed exactly the same. Tried it a fair few times now.
@@Alberts_Stuff ohh lol the "move to iOS is just for android... when you want to setup your iPhone from an iPhone just use the fast setup thing when setting up your iPhone
Hi,can you please help me, i am trying to transfer from my Samsung s10 to i iPhone 13 pro .it would not work..its saying unable to connect and transfer, try again later.i have complete wifi network.
Has anyone figured out how to get this transfer to work? I have tried 4 times now so I am sure that this is a software issues... everytime pauses on "preparing to transfer" for hours. From: Samsung Note 20 Ultra + 5G t To: iPhone 13 Pro Max
