I just bought this 2007 Viking 1906 . Thank you for the walk through set up and take down . I've watched it a few more times to make sure I get it right.
Just bought a used 20 17, 1706 viking I had to purchase another crank for it as there is no way I can store the crank inside the trailer as the door will not open with the roof all the way down. if I raise the roof just enough to open the door there is a gap all around between the roof and the lower part of the trailer. I need to be able to get inside the trailer along the road in case I get a flat, that is where I'm going to keep my impact wrench to make it easy to replace a tire. Going to have to figure out where I can store the extra crank on the outside of the trailer.
I appreciate the detailed description as I’ve recently purchased a 2015 8’ box pop up. I’m unsure what size it is once set up. It’s a Viking but is a camping world cw8. It looks very similar to yours.
I have a 2003 very similar to this we bought this week. Door was fine when we looked at it so 100% sure it is a me thing, but could not for the life of me get it to sit flush 😂 luckily it is fall so bugs were not a concern but definitely need to practice it. This looks a lot better with the door flush.
Anyone know the key code for a Viking 1706? I have a 2002. I can find all kinds of info on Coleman and fleetwood but not Viking. Just don’t want the door to pop open while driving. Happened to my brother. Thanks in advance for any info
WRONG ADVICE !!! The safety bars DON’t go on same side ! DANGEROUS this way If mechanics fail the very heavy top will hurt someone. Read the manual it specifically says to place safety pieces on the OPPOSITE corner from door. Please correct your advice, call Viking if you disagree. Happy camping DP
