Thank you... no you don't need air pump as water is oxygenated through the waterfall. But if there are big or many fishes in the tank then its better to add an airpump and Sponge filter

No. After switching off and then on, it automatically fills unless you have cleaned and there is no water it will always fill up if it has some water inside. Do subscribe for more upcoming videos
Biggest backdrow in rs hob is their motors were outside the water which creates lots of issue if there is any electricity fluctuation Need to refill water again and again in filter box to start it working which is annoying Same issue with all HOB except rs 920-940 models😊
Ok. But when I switch off the filter while feeding and then after someone switch on, if there is at least some amount of water in it, its back to normal working

@@benaqua10 Thanks for the quick reply. The tank dimensions are 1ft*.8ft*1ft. I am having some zebra danios in them. As the tank have some anubius plant so sponge filter is not removing all the dirt
Yes, because the water level will drop after switching off the filter and after switching it back on it will not fill the whole box with water until you add it.
