In this How To video I show you how to setup crab pots for successful yield. Year in and out this is how we setup up our pots and remember this is our strategy and formula but sharing this because it works for us. We use two different style pots, one plastic dip pot that is called EZ Pull and the other is an imitation commercial style pot that is made out of Rebar. We always look forward to Dungeness crab season opener because the enjoyment of delicious fresh Crab. Hope this video helps out with setting up crab pots. See you guys on the next one.

Thanks for the video. One thing I like to know is how do you organize your 240 ft cord? To me, it's a mess. I can only organize up to 100ft wire

Great video! Could you also show how you organize the ropes? I always tangle up my ropes and it takes a long time to feed them out.

Get the bulldog accessory for your ace no more helping the puller. I have the same one and it is so nice. Line coils right under the puller. Just have to add some tension to the wheel with my hand if the line starts to slip. Not sure how it works with line weights because I have leaded line.

Great video. Just curious why you guys use the floating line as opposed to sinking?

We use floating half way down so the rope stays away from the pot. Top half is sinking rope

All you have to do is stick that wheel on a mobility scooter motor, and bolt that to the puller base. we made ours less than $200. motor, aluminium, belt pully
