I'm looking to buy either the one you just demonstrated for us, great vid btw, or the ek blade compound crossbow, both do job looks and spec. I know what I'll end up doing, I'll buy one but won't stop thinking about the feel of the other so it might be I get the compound first cos I might like the feel of that more plus the width isn't as long on it, but I still like the look of the recurve so I'll get one of those too, partly cos your video swayed me towards the path I was meant to travel and experience a recurve compound crossbow three way lol.

Which way around is the larger shock absorber supposed to go on? I understand which side faces the body and which the prod but it fits both ways up, with the thinner flange up or the thicker flange up.

Hi, just looking for some advice, I just got this crossbow, mny first ever and I have just tried to use the rope they say to use to fit the string and then fire. Problem is, my string is perfectly sitting on one side of the limb, in both indents but the other side it is only resting in one so its not fitted correctly. It seems under way to much tension now to be able to move it to where it's supposed to be so I dont know what to do. Thanks

If the 3 dots are in a line vertically, I'd guess for elevation for shooting at distance !!

Does it come with the string already tensioned on the bow? I thought you needed to put it together and then use a longer string to set the tension. Thanks.

I accidentally armed the crossbow with the cocking rope but the shooting rope is not in place.. Now it's locked in fire position and i can't disarm it... What should i do?

No matter how hard I pull the string won’t reach the locking chamber? Surely I am strong enough? I can deadlift 170kg. What am I doing wrong. Also if I use both clips for the loading rope they just mash in the middle of the chamber, I am trying to cock it with 1 hook in off centre from the rail

You need to do it quickly in one fast motion and it's easier to do by hand

I can’t really remember!😱 I think I hadn’t lined it up properly It’s on now and I didn’t get a new bolt Let me know if you’re still struggling and I’ll take mine apart and have a look

@@gee828282 I didn't manage to sort it properly but I found a makeshift solution where I had to leave out the small metal rail panel and the bolt just held it in place. Not sure how secure it is but everything stayed in place after a few shots yesterday so hopefully it's working 😂

You can but it does get quite tiring after a while and does cut into your hands. But it isn't impossible I definitely do that whenever I don't have a cocking rope handy.

From what I gather, the Jag 1 is 150lbs draw weight and the jag 2 is 175lbs draw weight.

I am fairly new too and have a Jag 1 which is great 150lb I have ordered a Jag 2 Which should arrive tomorrow its 175lb I will let you know once I've had a few shots with it

I received my Jag 2 today will let you know how they compare the Jag 2 is 175lb compared to the Jag 1 150lb but I never had any issue with power of the Jag 1 so you may be good just sticking with what you've got
