You are actually making me think about getting a formula 3 car, it looks like fun. Also appreciate you sharing your practical approach to set-ups. Thank you!
You betcha! the f3 is great fun, the racing is a bit harsh sometimes, it takes a different approach to survive with these things as they are so delicate. but when you do get a good race you feel like Lando Norris on scenario 7 (: so it's worth it hehe...
this is the first setup video ive seen thats actually helpful and informative on understanding where to start with setups and getting the car to react more to how one my anticipate or want the car to. I love your content bud! hope to see more setup videos from you and maybe more in-depth understandings of what to pay attention to in a standard iracing setup and how to tweak it.
Excellent video. I remember racing against Tanner back in the day in Star Mazda. Glad he's been snapped by iR for his talents. And you have the best approach to setup tweaking. Minimalist like me, although I must say I am guilty of going to aero first and only. The stuff about the diff was game changing to me.
Thanks. I appreciate the information you've presented here as I'm having a "understeer on power" issue with my team provided setup and this was perfect. I'll try this info on my setup this afternoon.
I just purchased the F3 car and ran a quick race against the AI at Road America. It is fun to drive but I'm a long way off of your lap times. I have a league race (dirt oval) in an hour but after that I will practice the F3. Again, thanks for sharing.
