First of all, I never had or tried to have a server. I tried your 901 Server tutorial and I messed up some things i guess and the explainations were not the best for a newbie like me. So i tried a tutorial in my own language of season 3. Messed up again. So i gave one last shot to this one and it was BRILLIANTLY explained ! Or maybe trial and error from the previous tries finnaly payed off haha. MY VERY FIRST SERVER EVER ! ALL THANKS TO YOU ! I wanted this for almost 10 years ''Someday i`ll sit and read and watch tutorials and have my perfect little server just for me'' I taught. My wish came true ! My Sir, YOU are the real MVP !

Is that already open line ? or open to the other's to play even they are in the other place? if I put my LAN ip address, i can only play the game offline or by LAN only right ? what if i what to play it online with my friends . ? i also have a domain from noip.com am i going to put my domain address not my ip address ? whice server files? please Reply :'(

After editing the main.dll, I still cant connect. After putting my ip 192.168.10.50 from ipv4.. theres no server showing.or my ipp from cmyip keeps disconnecting. I followed everything on your tutorial

i have problem when i open mumaker , and after the changing pw , afer restart , put on AccountMaker and its SQL connection lost!

+WentRobin for mumaker fix u need to change pipes: Open -> SQL Server Configuration Manager -> SQL Server Network Configuration -> Protocol for MSSQLSERVER -> TCP/IP -> Enabled. go to Properties Tab : Enabled ->Yes (All) For TCP Port -> Put 1433 (All) Click OK and restart MSSQLSERVER. Rerun MuMaker. written by - MrQU3ST10N

When i do all, my main let me in, but when should showme server button, nothing appears and never disconect me. I set all my ips of the video in 127.0.0.1.. its ok or wrong?

+nacho nacho 127.0.0.1 is WRONG, use LAN IP (cmd>ipconfig>IPv4) and it should work

Do you have a link to the SQL version I need? I used sql 2014 but i couldn't restore the databases because the version is too new. I can't seem to find the right link to a working version.

+supercowy lol sql 2000 is fine, or 2005 or even 2008 not higher cus databases are kind of old

+youscootyou everything in Data folder, but not much to configure customs etc just exp/shops etc check all .txt files and u will understand.

I hope you can read and help me about this. Everything is working fine. My problem is, I want my friends to connect in me from there house. I tried my best to put my global ip/external ip. But they can't still connect, but with my local ip and when they bring laptops to my house and connect to my local ip they can connect. Thanks :D

hi your server works fine..thank you. but i have a problem with your client. im stuck with an error it says missing msvcr100.dll. i've tried to download it but when i try to run the main, Main has stop working. it will suggest to close the program. can you share something that may fix this issue? thank you so much.

not work because the last digits of my ip have 3 and the main.dll's ip only have 2 digit

edit ur IP use 1 more DOT starting from ur ip.. like ...192.16.xxx.xx. do... ..192.16.xxx.xxx.

My router tells me that the ports are enabled . Unfortunately, the router is lying ... I think you need to use another router (newer - model ) . I have not got an answer from the author of the film so I stopped muserv gl

VPS, cloud has issue so dont use ever Cloud for MU, vps or dedicated server, 4GB + ram and good internet.

MUServices Thank you, the problem was that i tried to do with 2005, and it has difference GSDBSet ODBC Connect Fail -> even if i added the .reg file, still gives me this on 64bit op. system. Any solution? also, when the eX thing shows up, it takes very long time to load or sometimes i have to close it via task manager.

Horvath Laci okay, i fixed everything, only the last step missing: when i edit my IP, and save it, it auto disconnects me. xx.xxx.xx.xxx is the format. but when i write, my 192.186.x.xxx format, it works, but when i click on the server, it disconnects me. last step arghh. :D

+MUServices hi, the shopserver server is running, and in a way the webshop too, but not till the end, i can buy credits and can send them to players too, but just cant buy anything. when choosing an item to buy and pressing buy, then clicking ok - it just goes to webshop again, without any action been made, credits stay the same - unspent. i ran threw tutorial and double checked everything, all is correct, any ideas? shopserver script is telling "Unknown GameCode " dont know if it helps

i fixed mine, see if the databases are correct. and make sure you ran the ODBC file.

Now have next problem, after starting "MuServer StartUp" all work but one dataserver is active mode and the second is standby mode. After 15-20 seconds both is standby mode. How fix this? ibb.co/RC6wKFB

I did things exactly and everything was okay I got in the MU maker no problem I think the problem is with the hex editor or something? my IP is as long as you do but when I start the game i get disconnect any advice?

disconnect means rather your Ports are blocked (55901,44405) or else u edited ip's wrong thats all.

the startup.ini is still a configeration file instead of a startup application i guess

No, startup.ini = config file and has to be config file, u run startup.exe or muserverstartup.exe and it loads that .ini

Thats normal, u must use /move command as GM/Admin, so mobs are going to be immortal*undead* cus thats how they praise GM's in the server style so u mustn ot be GM =D
