How to Setup Netgear Arlo in Minutes

Got a question. Can I setup Arlo without using the base to the Router? Can the cameras just be sync to the app on my tablet or laptop?

The documentation had zero info on the app. What is the app called - no info. How to use the app once you figure out what it is called - no info. How does the app connect to your camera - no info.

I was never able to set it up, their support was horrible. I was never able to see anything on my phone. I turned it in the same day

I'm having a problem I got this system we just moved I'm trying to set it back up and the bass won't connect to the app or to the cameras I've tried removing to reset it back up and everything and my phone won't find it or the cameras

How do you review the footage? Do you manually have to hit record?

I've installed 4 Arlo systems. 4 times I'm calling tech support because always something not working. installed a legacy 4 cam system today and I rebooted the base station probably seven times getting four cameras online due to it saying it's offline. the camera's work fairly well when they're finally all connected but good luck.

I have a problem to get a green light for the base station for internet; my light it stays amber all times , why is that ? They’ve sent me new base station and I still couldn’t connect to internet : please help, !

I have a wifi extender to the barn by netgear the base station is pluged to the the att router and the wifi in the barn is a Netgear signal how do I get I get the the wfi address in the barn imput

thank you so much, after hours of time talking to tech suppport you helped me, I was desperate to get this going asap. I was holding the button on the front not the side and couldnt get it to sync. Do you think they could have told me...hell no.

The only thing I don’t like about these battery operated cameras is the fact that you have to change the batteries every couple of months. I had to return my Arlo and I ended up getting the Armorax camera, the outdoor one, it’s not battery operated, but it has a better picture quality and does everything I need from a security camera.

My problem is my daughter deleted one of the cameras from my mobile app. Now I can’t get it added back. Not sure why or what I may be doing wrong.

Arlo sucks, get Blink. 2 x AA batteries are easier and cheaper to obtain.

Horrible product and customer service is even worse (Indian lady that can't speak clear English and 45 min hold times to speak to an agent) the base station could not connect to my router and the Indian lady with a mouth full of ghee didn't know how to fix the problem...sending back to Amazon.

STAY CLEAR OR WIRELESS AND WIFI CAMERAS FOR GUARDING YOU HIGH DOLLAR VALUABLES! Any WiFi or wireless cameras suck, plain n simple. You might be mesmerized at first but, when the poor reliability hammers your ass, you'll be the dummy and the sales developers at Netgear did a grand job selling garbage PLUS made bonuses off your negligence purchases. kNOWLEDGE IS POWER, use it first! Choosing cost over quality leads one to the lowsey systems. Choosing quality over cost nets you the best money can buy and not cutting corners from a mere novelty gimmick.
