Excuse my ignorance. Whats the point of these roles aside from Admin/Mod/Members. Wouldnt this clutter your member list? Id like to know why I should add roles. I did see a page where on the welcome page they asked which console they gamed on (xbox, ps, nintendo, pc, etc) and you'd be assigned a role that way. Is role assignment for fun and not other reason? I did think that was kind cool.

Yes, having a self roles section is optional but I assume you have noticed that most servers have one. Yes it is for roles that usually define a member as who they are, that is why they choose which roles they get, it can also be for notification roles so members can choose the notifications they want. It wouldnt clutter your member list at all unless you have every role with the "display members seperately from online members" permission enabled. They will just be silent roles on each users profile.

That makes sense. This is the second time I watch your video and am impressed how simple and precise your tutorial is. I used your Dyno video to set up Dyno in my Discord. Thank you so much for that. Another question, now that Discord has a "Channels and Roles" channel where you can assign reaction roles, is this still necessary to have a third-party bot with dedicated page? Again, excuse my lack of knowledge and thank you again!

@@BetoTheButcher Not sure exactly what you are asking, but if you have a channel called channels and roles, and you have setup yagpdbs rolemenu you created in it. Then that is all there is to it.
