Old timer in Michigan, no smart phone, just going to connect to wired desktop. I assume plug in and go to a 192,168,,,,, number or something .... right?
@@modernutilities I split out my signal into separate 2.5 Ghz and 5 Ghz spectrums. TVs, smart bells etc only run on 2.5 Ghz while I can run phones, computers, consoles etc on the 5 Ghz spectrum. I have seen previous modem router combos not necessarily T-mobile's router mess up the bands so it is a 2.5/5 Ghz mesh where speed can be dragged down by a frequency used by a 2.5 Ghz device.
@@JTR253 do what works for you. I do it a little different. It's about the older / newer devices rather than one frequency for some items and the other for something else is not the intended purpose. If the speed is dragged down its because some devices work better on their preferred frequency, distance from modem/router and the signal level that your Tmobile home modem is getting . 2nd floor window and 5 bars of signal is ideal. When all else looms perfect the tower can also have periods of congestion. It's not that easy to pin point why it's slower at times. Have a great day
Explain the charges? I was told the modem is $40.? But do they charge you that outright first? I live here on E. Sahara Ave. 89104. I'm probably going to your store to get it? Lol 🙂 I need it for my TV to set up my Roku & my Laptop!
I keep repeatedly getting connected without internet. I wish it was as easy as I just watched. The Metro location I got it from is to have a new one sent for me to pick up. I've just been looking all around for what a solution might be in the meantime.
You have to let it sit for a while to finish activation. I had the same issue yesterday and then it came back to life. Try doing a factory reset by taking a pin , paperclip or toothpick to it. How many bars of signal do you have ?
You lost me there. What do you mean? The same way you connect any other device which is wireless . If you must connect with ethernet cord there are 2 ports on the back of the modem to connect an older PC without wireless capabilities
@@kemangraya2382gift cards are when you go through us. I am not sure about the offers directly through Tmobile. Going through a dealer will ALWAYS get you a better deal and better service
$50 per month on autopay. $55 per month manual pay. You get it for $40 or $30 if you are an existing tmobile customer or want to become a mobile cell phone customer. Please call us with any questions 702-300-8488
Thank you but nobody can do anything with that info. I was activing an account for another place ( different name and all of that) you have to have more than IMEI to access the account or to do anything malicious
Maybe at your location Mine works amazing. 800mbps 6th gen . Haven't touched it for 9 months and have 35 devices hooked up same time with 5000 sqft range. It might improve over time. Try again in 6 months or more maybe
