Great tutorial! I didn't think I'd ever get this installed, but your video made it possible, thank you. However, is anyone else struggling to get it working after install? I can create the short URLs, but they do not redirect - instead I get a 404, and no logging of the click.

Excellent tutorial. Very clear and concise instructions with no "fluff."

I have installed but when I visit the short url, it is showing "404-The requested URL was not found on this server."

After all this details explanation, still failed to mention that the URL shortening is onyl for admins. There is no feature for a website visitor to simply come and enter a long url and have it shortened. Needs this context at the beginning.

@troublechute Hi Thank you for the great tutorial. I did Every thing as mention in the video but am getting stuck at the login page. Even after installing the correct id pass in the Yourls login page aftr installation the page is not redirecting to the admin panel. Instead it again prompts id pass with no errors. Anything i missed out/ i have installed it in my root. Please help

When I try to go to the admin folder on my website it says that that page can‘t be found, but i can go to the other folders for some reason Edit: Nevermind it helped renaming the admin folder
