Samieh, the pattern size is going to depend on what size hat you need. I made my pattern by using a similar beanie to deconstruct and create pattern

Very nice video! Great idea to enclose all the seams to make it more comfortable for baby. Could you please provide the measurement of the oval. It appears to be a little larger than for a newborn, but it's difficult to tell. Thank you!

Hi. Can you do the same thing if you want a DIFFERENT pattern on the inside? Basically "two hats in one"? I want to be able to flip it inside out and have a different pattern/hat. Thanks in advance ☺️

Queen Williams, Yes but you would have to hand stitch an invisible stitch when you go to close the opening. That way you can flip it both ways 🤗🤗

I'm going to go look up what an invisible stitch is.🤦🏾‍♀️🤣 I'm definitely not a seamstress, but I really want to make my baby boy some hats bc I can't really find any in the store that I like. Lol plus I want to make a satin lined cap for my 5 year old. So I thought doing this in a bigger size would work for that as well, maybe 🤷🏾‍♀️

All the seams are on the inside of this hat! No outside seams
