This is AMAZING!! I’ve been looking for a cute frog pattern to make for a friend, (she really likes frogs) this video is extremely easy to follow and the best sewing tutorial I’ve seen for sewing. You just earned a subscriber. 🐸 💕
I’m way late commenting but I wanted to tell you I made this for my sister-in-law as a quick memory gift. My husband & his sister lost both their parents within a year. I used his his mom’s shirts for the top & his dad’s jeans for the bottom. This little gift was a great, fast cuddle while I worked on memory quilts. Ty for the pattern!
Thankyou so much! I made a rainbow frog for my sister who is struggling with mental health and they carry it everywhere as a stress reliever. It has really helped her :)
Hi Lisa! Another great tutorial. You’ve inspired me to make these and also scaled down to broach size and fill with lavender. I live in a county in England that is well known for its lavender farm. The flat bottom of the frog works great as no “turning through “ needed. I’m going to lookout for some mini gold crowns or make them with wire. I think they’d be great to add to collection for charity donations.
Aww love the frogs Lisa ! They could be fairly easy for me to make, and with your pattern and instruction, how could I possibly go wrong ? Thankyou for the great things you make, on all levels.
I am so happy, all afternoon i have been wanting to learn something new. and then i stumbled acrossed your videos and learned about fabric and felt together thank you very much. awesome job, i started with your vw bag. :)
Thank you again for this sweet frog pattern. You are a very amazing lady. I wonder if it is possible to do this with a Sun Bonnet sue pattern. I am going to see if I can adapt my sun bonnet sue pattern to try and make the doll. But if you have any suggestions I am listening. :)
Hi Lisa! Thank you for the great tutorial for sewing this cute little frog! You are the best! Once I have my sewing machine I will be giving this a try, unless I'm too impatient and I decide to try hand stitching the project. lol I'm enjoying your channel very much and learning a lot too. TFS Happy Creating! Samantha
I just stumbled across this looking for frog patterns. I am so trying this, but I'm going to try using a fusible interfacing instead of the heat bond and felt since that's what I have on hand. Also the only heat bond I found said do not sew in all capitals. I did get poly-pellets since they are washable and I intend the frogs for kids who will likely drag them everywhere. I cannot wait to see how they turn out.
@@payitforward9442 well, I succeeded in making a couple of frogs, but I'm not sure how to get the pictures to you. I'm going to make more. They were fun to make. 😊
thank you what a sweet frog. I know its probably a dumb question but is it just regular felt that you use? I wondered if its a special flet that adheres to the fabric thank you so much
Hi! Not a dumb question, no such thing! I use a washable acrylic felt for most of my PayItForward projects, it is inexpensive and comes in sooo many colours!🥰
Oh my cheese n crackers!! Totally adorable! I am sadly without the felt but I have tons of med/heavy interfacing that I use for my baskets. Will that work?
Thank you Laurie, I have new Microphones now so no longer an issue, I will attempt to raise the volume on some of my earlier videos, thank you for your Kind feedback!🥰
I use a washable acrylic blend felt for most of my projects, and wool felt or wool blend felt for others. Have a look at my video “Prepare your felt for Sewing” it will help explain things better!🥰
@@payitforward9442 Thanks for the reply 😁 Though I have one more question sorry 😂 Is fusible webbing the same thing as heat n bond?. I am trying to work out what is what so I can buy items and finally make something on the weekend 😅 Thanks for the help!!
I’ve tried several times but the frog pattern won’t print. I just get a blank piece of paper. I’ve put a in new ink cartridge and changed print quality from draft to normal, but nothing works. Do you have the pattern in another format, not a pdf?
Try downloading the pattern first and then print it from your downloads. This sometimes happens and this is the work around that followers have come up with, most often happens when you use Safari, Chrome works better. Let me know, hugs Lisa
@@payitforward9442 Thank you. I printed the cute frog pattern but wonder if it’s correct as it seems quite small. I think it’s about 10-1/2 inches from tip of nose to tip of toes. I wrote another note 2 or 3 days ago with the measurement but I don’t see it right now.

Hi Gloria, try downloading the pattern first (there is a download button on the top right hand corner when you open it) this seems to be a workaround for the people that have had this issue. Also we find most issues come from using Safari. Try using Firefox or Chrome. Safari just doesn’t like RU-vid for some reason. Hope this helps.
@@payitforward9442 Hi again, Lisa. I was able to print it at last, but it looks quite small. I like it, but the pattern measures just 10-1/2 inches from the tip of its back toe to the tip of its nose. Is that correct? Again, maybe something to do with my American measurements. I printed a similar frog pattern from another RU-vid video and it’s larger, still fits on the 8-1/2 x 11 paper we use here, but not nearly as cute as yours. I won’t use it, just wonder if this little pattern is the right size.
