Hi Tammy lovely tip to sew a scrunchie. It is very similar to a infinity scarf . Only difference is the length and the elastic.One request can you make a Bow small and large to go on hair and on a waist band.thanks.How come your English is super but you are in Berlin. Meaning your English has no German accent.best wishes.

Hi Tammy, I’m delighted to have found this video. I’ve been sewing for just about 5 months now. I’ve only made a couple pairs of pajamas aside from rockin’ out my boyfriend’s stagewear, lol! He’s a musician in a rock band and I wanted to at least make a couple of scrunchies to wear to some of his shows that blend in with the band. Not match identical…how passe’! But I wanted to match without being too matchy matchy. And making my own scrunchies allows that! Thank you so much for a very easy tutorial 🦋🎸

To sew the 2 ends in a circle, I cut the fabric 1/2 inch wider and used my zipper foot.The zipper foot really helped. I will use this method again.

Are both ends folded, pinned, and then sewn together? Won’t the elastic get in the way?

The connecting of the tube ends is so troublesome that this way of sewing scrunchies is not only not fun but encourages me to use other tutorials. It's so hard to sew those small circles together and after attempting this, I searched other tutorials for tips... only to find many that don't even use this complicated method.

Was there a point to leaving this comment? If you found another tutorial that works well for you then that is great! The creator of the video clearly stated that this is the easiest tutorial for them and decided to share. If you’re lack of sewing skills made it difficult for you, then by all means find another tutorial and comment on that video about how much you enjoyed it, but this passive aggressive negative comment was so unnecessary. If you don’t like it then find and use another tutorial. I happen to like this one!
