this was so beautifully made! i wanted to ask, what if I wanted to make the sleeve longer? would I just made the top part slightly wider? and then have it come in at the waist?

Hello Ariana, thank you for your kind comment. Yes, to achieve longer sleeves, make the fabric width wider, which would also give you more fullness in the lower section of the dress. Plus, I think the pops of sound add a somewhat fun factor to what might easily become a boring lesson, without added stimulation. Lol

Hello,Thank you for watching. ❤ Well, because the front and back fabric pieces were cut with the same width, the long front middle tuck is what helps the dress front piece retain the same width as the dress back piece after the zip has been sewn. Having a zipper at the side could be an alternative to dismissing this middle tuck (both in front and at the back), but wearing the dress would become a painful ordeal due to the cinched waist.

Hello Amanda, yes a V-Neckline will work, I recommend cutting it in front, and not too deep (cos it may gape due to the excess fabric) but keep the back neckline round and high. Thank you for watching 🤗🤗

Hi, I really would not recommend the use of sheer fabrics that need lining like Chiffon, because the tucks may create extra bulk on 2 layers. But here's what you could do, first join the front and back pieces, then line the dress as usual, and then after that, sew the tucks at the very end, pinching the fabric and lining together. You can slow down the speed of her speech in the video using the settings. Just click on the gear and choose playback speed. Great video and can’t wait to try this myself!!!
