That’s a great question! I used just a bit less than 2 meters. To calculate how much fabric you need, measure total dress length plus sleeve length (before gathering) 🤗

To make this dress, I used knit fabric - the specific I used is called ‘MaxMara’ and it’s a mix of viscose/nylon/polyester. Fabric is medium weight and has a good stretch 🤗
