In 1971 when I was pregnant maternity clothes were awful. Dresses like this, halter tops, & hippie skirts were my salvation. Could have made a lot of money filling requests but was too ill much of the time. You can also add elastic or a tie belt under breasts for empire waistline. Then you have clothes to wear after delivery.
