The Rosa dress was the first thing I'd made for myself after about 30 years of no sewing at all! I had to look up how to sew an invisible zip and found it wasn't that difficult and gives you such a neat finish to your clothes. This video is a game changer for a lot of people struggling out there!

I've always just sewn the zipper in by hand. It's so quick and easy, I've never bothered with doing it on the machine.

What seam allowance did you use?

I wish that I had been taught to do zippers this way in school. We were taught to sewthe seam closed, the pin the zipper and then stitch around it. Then unpick the seam to use the zipper. Worst way to do it.
