The Rosa dress was the first thing I'd made for myself after about 30 years of no sewing at all! I had to look up how to sew an invisible zip and found it wasn't that difficult and gives you such a neat finish to your clothes. This video is a game changer for a lot of people struggling out there!
Love this.your sewing is very simple and easy to understand.

The first garment I made was your hazel dress and I love it so much! The zip was a challenge but i've made two already and wore the blue version for my b-day a couple weeks ago and got complimented on it 🥰🥰🥰
This is so helpful! I've been procrastinating on sewing your Rosa pattern because of the zipper 😅 im an absolute beginner with sewing clothes but I think I'll be fine now, thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this video! Im a wedding seamstress and have fudged my way through any zipper issues to make it lay right up until now. This is so easy to understand!
thank you this video simplified things for me, can't wait to try it out on my projects. i have been procrastinating for ages because of the zip portion of the garment even when that's the only thing let to do. your video has made it simpler to understand compared to other tutorials I've watched. for some reason found it difficult to understand the other tutorials not the instructions just the way they sewed it.
Janelle your videos are usually so easy to understand but the picture of ironing the zip was too fast for me…I’m still not sure what to do…and I’m worried the zipper teeth will melt! Can you describe how you fold the zipper in a little more detail for me? Thankyou so much.💐
I wish that I had been taught to do zippers this way in school. We were taught to sewthe seam closed, the pin the zipper and then stitch around it. Then unpick the seam to use the zipper. Worst way to do it.
