That pattern would be perfect if it just had a pocket! Now you can add a pocket, with or without a zipper to any sewing pattern. Great for purses, tote bags, and woven shirts & skirts.
Make your pocket opening no longer than your zipper. A 9" zipper, measured top to bottom stop, should have a pocket opening no larger than 9". Just cut your zipper down when you are done, if your zipper is too long.
