This is so useful - I’ve realised I might just have enough fabric to put pockets in my Hove dress! Then I think I will have made a zero waste dress! Really helpful hints on using You Tube too xx
@@SussexSeamstress I’ve carefully cut my fabric and have it all ready to sew - I had about an inch of fabric left - luckily I’m only 5’3 , so could get away with shortening the skirt length. 😘
First tutorial I finally understood. Although it would have been much more clear if the front and back of the fabric were a bit more different 😊 but i understood anyway. Extra thanks for an advice on when and how to overlock during this process
It would be so helpful if the wrong and right side of the fabric could be seen clearer, you did not mention what side of the fabric which would have been so much clearer for beginners
Hello, if I like to serge everything for a more clean look, would I serge the pocket pieces and then attach? Or would I attach and sew until it looks like 3:20, and then serge??
