This video is really helpful to everyone who needs to know how to sew ribbons and elastics onto the pointe shoes. The explanations are great and easy to understand.
The video is a little bit confusing. When you mark the inside of the shoe,are you marking the center point of where the ribbon will go? Or are you marking the inner edge or the outer edge? then you say to fold the elastic ribbon in half and take the short side. Well there is no short side if you have folded it in half. I'm afraid this is not terribly helpful for beginners on the topic.
