DIY tutorial video on how to sew your own balaclava ski mask. This tutorial is specific for a stretch mask using knit fabric. Another tutorial with non-stretch or woven fabric will follow.
Everyone's head differs in shape and size so use this pattern as a guide.

Cheers man! I'm pretty new to sewing and I made one out of jersey using your tutorial and pattern (which I traced off my screen to scale with grease-proof paper!). Came out nice but i'd lower the back and bring in around 1cm if using jersey again as it is losing it's stretch pretty quick.

Thank you for posting your instructional tutorial - I have made a double layer one in merino offcuts that I've got from a local factory here. Any hints as to how to do the bottom seam? I ended up joining the fabric at the mouth/eye part, then brain fade about how to join the bottom, so just stitched on a round of ribbing instead. Looks ok, but I wonder....?!

Satin would be really tricky. No stretch (check out GA017 for the non-stretch version) but also such a lightweight material.. it’d be tricky but I’d still encourage you to try 🙂

You should try using disappearing ink pens. They come in multiple colors and once you apply heat the ink disappears.

My pdf reader had a "tile large pages" function and I was able to print it out on 6 pages and I taped them together

if you still need the answer: get the free Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader program, open a pdf file, click print, click "real size" button, click "portrait" and then print it out with your printer in A4 format. You'll get like 4 A4 papers, match those together and you have a real size pattern
