This worked thank you! My brother pays for ps plus and it stopped working on my account suddenly, I did this then restored licenses then restarted ps5 and it seems to have solved the problem! Thanks so much

Depends. For you to give them ps plus no they would sign in to your account on theirs. If they're giving you ps plus then you sign in to theirs on your ps. Then make sure the setting is on for the account giving out the ps plus.

I tried to do this on my friends PS5 but I am not able to launch Call of Duty Cold War Online.. He even added me as a family member but that didn’t do the trick either..

@@tiredsome3607 well he has PlayStation plus and I added myself to his PS5 right? Then he added me as a family member and I had to accept, then about a day later I booted up the PS5 and tada multiplayer actually worked, been playing it daily.

You were able to game share with up to 2 people on ps4 but now on ps5 it's only up to 1 and psplus is more expensive for the higher tier bundles. It made it easier to help friends game share and get psplus games if they couldn't afford psplus. And those friends would link their accounts with other friends to share psplus now it's harder to chain link game sharing. Sony made game sharing on purpose for family account sharing between consoles. But it's harder to do it now.

So I called PlayStation support and they informed me that they no longer support 2 ps5 and 2 ps4 on the same owner account for internet access it either has to be 1 ps5 + 1 ps4 or 2 of each so a total of 2 per internet access and I told them wtf I have 2 of each of for each kid and 1 ps5 for myself why the fuck would I pay double when the rule for the last 2-3 years has been the same it’s a family account not a business

Never needed to do that if you have any account that has PlayStation plus all the accounts on that PlayStation console will be able to play those plus games no matter what you must be thinking of Xbox game pass how do you share your game pass ultimate with other users well that’s the one that’s kind of hard not every account of the system will have access to get to complete quests and earn points only the account that has ultimate game pass you need to make the console your home console so everyone can play the game pass games

Small caveat: ps plus is enabled for all accounts as long as one has it. Ps plus games however cannot be lauched by the owning account if they dont have ps plus. Whats wild is the OTHER account can?!

This is what I want to know! I think they don't allow sharing PlayStation plus now, only games... And now ps plus is more expensive too. It's stupid because ps plus is needed for online play on some games, but on pc you don't have to pay to play online on those same games. Why do we need to pay for the PS plus? Sony has nothing to do with the game servers? We already paid for the games, we already pay for our internet, we already paid for the ps5. I don't want to pay $100 a year because I don't use ps plus for its free games or other features.
