I have sensitive skin and have bounced all over the place on blades acne razors. I never would have thought the open comb razor would help. I use Gillette Pure shave cream and Nivea sensitive balm afterwards. Thank you for walking us through another helpful shave.

*Still learning new things from your videos Geo thanks!* I use the three Proraso White Sensitive you demoed. It's always bothered me that the pre-shave felt like it was drying out while I whipped up my lather. Now I'll be trying it making the lather *before* applying pre-shave. It just never occurred to me to make the lather first! FYI, Proraso White Sensitive works well for me without menthol, tickle, or tingles.

I own this one and it’s my favorite. Open comb is superior when you have long hair that needs to be shaved. As opposed to a milder closed comb.

Great video Geo! I like it when you go more in depth like this on your shaving videos. Today I learned the option to use the preshave between passes. I learned in one of your previous video of yours that though the razor in this case is open comb and more aggressive, it can be a good choice for sensitive skin. Thank you.

shave using cold water if you have sensitive skin makes a big difference with cartridge. less razor burns

I will swear to my dying breath that the combo of the Feather A2D2 and a German Wilkinson Sword (plus a sensitive preshave and soap) is the best for sensitive skin and coarse beard.

Hi, Geo. I have been using the ‘cold blade, hot everything else’ technique and it works great. I get no irritation even with my R41 + feather. I guess this Parker falls between the R89 and R41, right? Thanks a lot!

hmm come to think of it, I haven't ordered from shave nation in a while and recently ordered something somewhere else. Got my R41 from you and it's pretty much all I use, in a few years I'll grab my first straight from you guys. Look out for a brush, bowl, alum stick, and pre-shave order within the week or 2, I have never used a pre-shave and I've been wanting to try one of the Proraso ones due to ease of use with good results. Also how are the horse hair brushes? I was gonna buy a boar to try it out to see how it ages but these horse hair brushes really caught my attention. I'm currently using the parker pure badger and I want to do better without going crazy :P.

Meu primeiro safety razor foi um King C GIllette. Depois passei para o Parker 24c pente aberto. Gostei muito. Estou satisfeito. Dizem que esse safety razor esta entre o Muhle R89 para o Muhle R41. Esse safety razor faz um barbear suave e eficiente. O pente aberto ajuda a esticar a pele. Tenho pele sensivel e faço a barba todos os dias. por isso que recomendo as laminas Parker. Saudaçoes daqui do Brasil.
