This is how I shave before work during the week using a safety razor with one or two passes when I'm in a rush. However, when I shave on Sunday on my day off, I take my time building the lather with my brush and use a straight razor with three passes, which is what I enjoy.

One of the clues to what you show and what is discussed in the description is from trying a second pass of a regular shave but having a lather that is too thin or watery; and finding that the second pass goes well with a very good result and with maybe light irritation.
