Excellent demonstration. I rarely use an adjustable because I'm a daily shaver. However, it helps to have increased efficiency when it's needed.

Swapped the long handle for the short version myself. Best shaves have been progress. You can go beyond 5 up to around 10 before the head comes off

First ! Fellow Progress and T3 Synthetic user... My short handle (i'm a big guy with big hands) Progress is my favourite razor period. Do'nt need a long handle, plus i like the Merkur history.. However, with failing eyesight, for an extra $ the factory could paint in the number details... TBH, next brush i buy will be a T2, as the 3 is ridiculously large.

Can you make one about tricks to getting a close shave on the neck without a ton of irritation? I've had a hard time with that area since i started shaving. That is why I had a beard for years. I kinda enjoy the ritual of shaving now though.

Question, I dont have an adjustable, should i be changing my technique for the second and third passes? should i be using something milder like some shark blades after the first pass with the feather blades? And geo thanks for the videos mate, learning a lot from you, you make it look easy. 👍

Also. I have a Maggard Razors Safety Razor Head V3M (Mild), thinking its not aggressive enough for me? I have very thick wiry growth, find it hard to get a BBS shave with even 3 passes, i feel like my technique is pretty good

Hi Geo, visitor from U.K. Have you any plans to review Barbarossa Brothers Otterman. It’s a cracking razor, very heavy and beautifully balanced but no matter how careful I am, I nick my skin on the second pass no matter what blade I use. Love to hear your views. Thanks.
