Step 1: Export Blogger Content
Go to your Blogger dashboard (www.blogger.com) and log in to your account.
Navigate to the "Settings" "Other" section.
In the "Blog tools" section, click on the "Export blog" link.
A pop-up will appear; click on the "Download Blog" button to save the XML file containing your Blogger content to your computer.
Step 2 Import Content into WordPress
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard (www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
From the left-hand menu, go to "Tools" "Import."
Look for "Blogger" in the list of available importers and click "Install Now" if you haven't installed it already.
Click on "Run Importer" under the Blogger section to start the import process.
Upload the XML file that you downloaded from Blogger in Step 2 and click the "Upload file and import" button.
WordPress will prompt you to map the authors on your Blogger site to existing users on your WordPress site or create new users for the authors. Assign the authors accordingly and click "Submit."
Set Up Permalinks and Redirects
Permalinks: To maintain the structure of your URLs, set up permalinks in WordPress. Go to "Settings" "Permalinks" and choose your preferred URL structure (post name is recommended for SEO-friendly URLs).
Redirects: Use plugin Blogger to wordpressm copy the code and past on blogger website.

Hi there, thanks for this video. I've tried following the steps, up until the permalinks part and it seems you have you pay for the creator package for this - which is super disappointing. Does this mean than my SEO and ranking from my blogger blog will be hugely impacted now I've migrated to wordpress and moved my domain name over also? Thank-you for your advice

Hey there, You are most welcome. Sorry for the delayed reply. So the plugin is still free. I am not sure that what is that creator package. Also just to keep in mind SEO score might effect , but that would be temporary. if you have taken the the right step then nothing to worry about SEO will be back in few days. I tried but i couldn't import..There was an error and i get a message like "Sorry, there has been an error. This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number". So what to do for this?

Export the file again from blogger and then try importing.. The file might be corrupted.

Sir i have a question For wordpress how much i have to pay per year in 2024 Actually i have already an website and now i want to shift it to wordpress. And i want to do full time blogging along with job, but recently i am student and i have not enough money, what i should do. Even before this my blog had been monetized but due to my mistake I deleted it. And right now i am working on my 3rd website And this is my final website. Give me suggestion I really need it. Hello Dear, So let me explain all your questions ; 1) Hosting and money to run a wordpress site : so wordpress hosting can cost around INR 135 / month if you but like 4 years of plan from a nice hosting. there are sales sometime so keep an eye on that too. Take the cheapest plan to start from a reliable host. Don't try to save too much money by going with a bad host because your website will have issues and it will be hard to rank on google resulting no adsense money/approval. What platform you create website? you said it was deleted 3 times, why ? You should always keep the backup if website. Sir first of all Thank you so much for your teachings , we are getting much more in free. Sir today my question is that Im using blogspot for 2 years. Everything was ok, but from few months no new post is Appearing in google search but everything is ok i have checked up to my knowledge. I have 80$ in adsense account, now i want to Transfer my blog to WordPress. But question is that My adsense balance is below Threshold and My blogspot blogger is not ranking anymore so how can I Solve this issue?

Hi Dear, Happy to help our community and everyone wants to learn. the only way to withdraw money from AdSense before hitting the $100 threshold is by closing your account. In this case, the approved amount in your AdSense balance will be paid to your registered bank account after 90 days. or you can move the site to wordpress and then use same adsense account and let more money accumulate in the accound and then withdraw it.
