My name is Rachel Strickland and I am a full-time reseller reselling online on ebay, posmark and mercari. My passion for thrifting and treasure hunting has enabled me to quit my job and become an ebay reseller full time. I am so excited to be self-employed that I want to show YOU how to quit your job and start reselling too! Selling on ebay and making money on ebay is something ANYONE can do. It's a great side hustle as a part-time reseller or a phenomenal full-time income you can work from home. My desire is to share and teach you HOW TO BE A RESELLER. I fill my videos with ebay tips and tricks to help you leartn how to sell on ebay.
Mainly I source and buy my reselling inventory at thrift stores because I simply love to thrift, take you guys along on a thrift vlog and film and showcase thrift hauls full of vintage and designer goods. I shop goodwill, salvation army, small town thrifts, the Goodwill bins ( Goodwill outlet) and more.
When I am not thrifting, I love to shop yardsales and ensure you know a good BOLO when you see one and what to buy at yard sales.
I also source at auctions including online auctions, estate auctions, and live auction houses always showcasing my auction haul and auction scores with you guys. I take auction go pro style first-person videos.
Even more than showing you guys my hauls, I love to educate and show you what sold and why so that you can learn how to source as a reseller as well.
My Friday night live shows are a great way to get involved in the online reseller community and learn tips and tricks from the reselling pros.
So come along with me and my American Picker style RU-vid Channel as we find and flip the coolest vintage and designer goods, learn how to ship breakables, authenticate coach, nikes and Louis Vuitton and more! I am so glad you are here!

Yeah!! I loved seeing you guys kick it around the yard and such!! I was watching while at a friend’s house, who I had told many times about how carefully one needs to package something for shipping. She would just give me an incredulous look as if I was nuts about how the Post office handles packages. But once I showed her your video, she now believes me! LOL. Especially when she saw how hard an impact it took to dent the box, and I asked her if she’d ever received a package in that condition, and she was like “yup”. LOL. We were both laughing. And then she gave me her mom’s birthday gift and asked me to package it for her… LOL 😂. Great and helpful Video!

Thank you for this! I've had a couple items arrive broken after I thought I'd wrapped them so carefully. Now I'm understanding why material like this works better than just "more bubble wrap." I will use these ideas. Thank you for all your open sharing of hints and ideas!

Love to ship breakables, I like this, method, I have a different way of shipping multiple items. We tape stacks of plates together, small bubble in between or the thin foam, tape them solid so no movement, and wrap them with larger bubble.. the fullness of the package like you showed helps so much, you do not want any movement. And I have rolls of “fragile” stickers. I usually put one on each side, the post office says 1 will work. But I think it helps a lot too. I’ve had two things break, one is the reason of my packaging now. It was an antique mutant necklace. Put in a box with the cotton only and then in a padded envelope. The cotton gave it room to clank against each other part of the beads arrived broken. I wrap beads now. The other was a resin figurine, I think the resin had an air bubble or because it was a precise split it was shipped to Alaska so altitude changes and cold might of been factor, the lady glued it , it wasn’t noticeable. USPS when you insure something and make a claim for breakage requires 2” of packaging all the way around the item. Great video, I might try the foam out! Thank you!

My first job was at the UPS store. We always said "pack it like it's going to get dropped from 30 feet!" Never in a million years did I think that I'd be using skills I learned at a high school job 😅 but I really feel like I have a leg up on my reselling! PS, also MO girl. Love your content!

Realy glad to see this worked out so well. You can be sure that next time I go to Walmart I'll be looking for some of those mattress toppers on "secret hidden clearance". Once again (I believe) a key factor is filling the voids (as you did) to dampen the vibrations. Maks a world of difference. Keep selling and keep shipping.

@DaytonValleyDeals Thank you!🤩 I went to 2 local WalMarts and the "Mattress Foam Pad" was unavailable... cheapest Mattress Pad was $33, sooooo I thought of you, texted my daughter at college, and asked permission to cut up her yoga mat.😅 It worked! I just received AMAZING Positive Feedback, that the 110 year old Ornate Frame, with Convex/Bubble Glass made it, 100% intact!🎉

Great series of experiments. Only things I didn't see were being run over by a fork-lift (can't do that at home) and having a bowling ball or 50lb package being dropped on it. :-) Enjoyed.
