This was timely. One of my behavior clients is sending a snake to me from New Hampshire to Colorado and neither of us has shipped an animal out before so we’re using Ship Your Reptiles as our guide.
I met Chad and some of his team at Tinley, I used them to ship a few reptiles home! Everyone was so nice, just amazing customer service and all of the reptiles made it home safe and sound!
I took at look at Chad brown stats he had a great career, he was a 2x first Team all-pro, 2x Defensive Player of the Year and a 3 time Pro Bowler and he has 2 rings too. Also, At the time he retired in 2007 he led all of the active players at the time in sacks. Wow he might make it into the Hall of fame.
Great video Mr. Justin that was a lot of very good information I thought that was a very strong statement that Mr. Chad matches all the donations to USArk
Awesome Video! Very informative! and I prefer bags when receiving my snakes, its more of a surprise but I also think they are probably more comfortable in a bag.
Thank you for this information, I am moving from California to Florida and I was wondering how I was going to take my snakes with me... This helps a lot
I only ever shipped a turtle so i use both bag and cup depending on species / requirements. For example, if i ship aquatic turtle, i can't use bag at all. Why ? Because they need a moisture to keep them wet. I need to put a wet moss or tissue with them, so i must use a cup (for baby - juvenile) or a plastic shoe boxes if they are too big for a cup. I also do this when shipping most of tortoise species, maybe except Sulcata or Bearded Dragon, that's when i use a bag with dry tissue for their toilet just like in this video.
Isn’t he the former owner of Pro Exotics way back when ? I purchased some really cool ball pythons from him in the ‘90’s…morphs with no names. But each very very different.
Cup is very useful for small reptile or any reptile that need moisture near them, like frogs, turtle, etc. You must put a wet moss with them so they won't get dry. You can't do that with reptile bag.
Do we need a special license or anything to ship reptiles? You didn’t mention it but I’m just double checking! My mom is watching my snake while I moved from CA to NC (military!) and I’m ready for her to get sent here. Thanks for this video!!
I am going to ship my snake and I saw the warning on the website saying not to ship snakes on Thursdays. Is that the only day of the week that it is not recommended to ship reptiles?
