Wish I had seen this before I started bowhunting in the beginning of October. Would've helped a lot. Either way, I put in the work, 3 or 4 times a week with 2 hour drives upstate until I dropped my first buck with a bow 6 weeks after getting my starter Diamond Edge Infinite Pro bow in the mail. About 2 weeks ago, I seriously upgraded to a Mathews Z2 and now my groups are touching @ 20 yards on my first day shooting it. Can't wait for the '17 season with this thing. Great tutorial by the way. Thanks. I still learned from it.

Its really nice to watch an instructional video where the host(s) are relaxed, actually informative, and prepared. I am just getting into archery and doing my homework. Archers! Notice how this archer lines up his draw arm elbow with the point of his arrow for proper alignment and form at end of his shot sequence. He is able to repeat the shot sequence each time in almost the exact same way each time. The repeatable shot sequence helps accuracy a great deal. Enjoy!

Great, new to archery. I came back to rewatch and comment. Video helped a ton and the relaxed position feels good I was holding everything so tight and was so inconsistent and this really increased my ability and confidence.

great video! i got my first compound a week ago, a used and pretty antiquated bow, but functional to get myself started, and was hangin with my buddy who was teaching me the basics, but i was just coming up short a lot. this explained a few of my mistakes, really appreciate it!

Great vid! I train people especially with firearms to do a light jog until they are winded and then shoot. Very good way to emulate the heart racing you get when excited by buck fever lol

Thank you so much my friend! Step 4 especially helped me as I’ve taken a lot of skin off my arm several times. I bought an arm guard, but it would still lightly bruise. Since watching this however I’ve only struck my lower arm once (and that was user error.) One question I have is what poundage is your bow? I keep the loose grip, but the bow doesn’t roll forward... I just bought a compound bow from my stepdad yesterday. He was going to sell it on Facebook, and I tried it just for shits and giggles. Ended up liking, got it, and went to get a target bag today. This video helped! Didn't hit the bulls eye, but maybe tomorrow or later on. Thanks for the tips!

Mate, thankyou, so much. I just boght a 70lb bow today, off ebay... I put it together, and realised I'm left handed,, had the idea wrong as left to right handed bow... silly me. Anyway, watched a vid on dominant eye, turns out this left hand bow is my best chance. I just tore the shit out of my for arm, felt like being smacked with a bull whip... so,,... I'll learn along . This was much better than other vids I've seen.

I bought my first bow this past weekend.. I m in love with archery.. IMO it’s even funner than shooting .. I was gonna go in and get the PSE infinity but the guy at the shop convinced me to get a diamond edge or diamond deploy.. after trying out both I went with the diamond deploy... so fun.. I spent like 3 hours on Sunday shooting at an outdoor range by where I m at!!

Diamond is a great bow for beginners! And will last awhile even while you get more experienced. Glad you're enjoying it!
