I thank God for laughter and not being so serious all the time. You are not mocking God, you are just making us laugh at the way people shout sometimes. You could be in the world but you have a ministry of laughter and I enjoy it. May God continue to bless your ministry.
I agree. This is what you call Christian comedy. They're proving that you can be saved and be comedians without using profanity, talking about sex and violence.
Of course, it's a reflection of how we were raised in the Church, you might forget many of your childhood experiences, but you will NEVER forget the Black Church.
I saw the pew disruption and I nearly wet my pants! Many times I had to run from my seat to safety cause someone in the row was shouting and we all had to move. The fainter. Have mercy. We had that too. I remember a lady dancing into the wall. I was like um is someone gonna help her cause she might take the paint off! Clearly these fellas grew up in a church. As someone who was born and raised in church, these are hysterical!! I love it!!!!
I'm a Pentecostal minister and watching this was hilarious. I can't laugh in church because I am in a serious spiritual mind set but watching this from the worldly side, this is too funny. I have seen it all.

Yes the church mother was perfect. Mrs Blue was our church mother, sat in the same chair every service and oh how I miss hearing here praise the Lord. Thank you for bringing back wonderful memories.
Your brought back some memorable shouting memories from growing up in church. When Kevin did the wall shouter I almost lost it. My church had a baptismal pool, people shouted in that too! It's not mockery everyone had their own personal dance expression. And you 3 guys minded me of my younger wonderful blessed days of growing up in a holiness church. Thank you!

I really don't think that this was an intentional mockery of God. It's actually a truth to the way the Black church is...I believe God is a God of humor, not the God who sits and frowns at every little thing we do. Of course, He still hates sin but I really don't think this was meant to be taken deeply but rather a humorous side for the saints...Out of all the things in the church and the world that's going on, the saints deserve a laugh or two...How do you know these men are not sold out for God? Who are we to judge? If it is wrong, the Holy Ghost will convict. Not up to you nor me to judge. God Bless you all! And this was not meant to be harsh (let me kill that devil right now in Jesus name!)

I see so many of those dances at church each Sunday. I don't make fun of how people praise The Lord, but sometimes it makes me smile. I say you better praise him how you can. Hey, I'm still waiting on God to give me my own individual shoot.
I loved this. I wanted to tell you that sometimes I jump out of my car shouting in my driveway, with a CD or tape playing, trying to do 2" vertical jumps and stomping my feet and dancing, doing back strokes, dips, venturing out into the driveway cause I want everyone driving by to see me being nice with it, then back to the car, with car door assist or leaning against my car. I do this wearing thick winter clothes, fat heavy boots, three skirts, falling down sometimes on the ice, and it doesn't hurt. I am old but I still praise the Lord and shout. When I was young I used to flop around like a marionette and Jesus seemed to be pulling my hand and feet strings like a lunatic. I looked insane. I miss that. Have fun and conquer.

@tankmaster1018. My Dutch boyfriend (also atheist) was introduced to this behaviour one day after he landed here from Amsterdam at the funeral of my brother who died a few days earlier. He too had a "great time". The whole thing inspired a blog and brand which he is working on now.."say it with grits." This brought me to tears, because while I didn't grow up in a church like this, I am familiar, and this is right on target...and totally hilarious. I could go to church again, just for this social experience. Well..maybe I'll simply watch it on youtube ever now and again. Ya'll are too funny...and seeing this from his eyes...was even funnier.

Now ya'll know that's for them hoochies that come to church in too short dresses then have the nerve to fall out with their dresses up to their waist and no panties, ok sometimes wearing panties. But that had me rolling.... thanks for the memories.
