Hi, is it possible to have labels only show on the inside if the pie chart segment is large enough, but otherwise have it on the outside (e.g. with a line pointing to the appropriate segment)? Also, to only make the key be bold font but the value be normal? Thanks for all your help and putting so much effort into all your videos! :)
Hi, Thanks for the tremendous video series for chartjs library. A one small request - can you put the plugins link in the description which you are using in the respective video?
Hi, how can we add connecting line along with label outside. You have same video related to doughnut chart. I want to achieve same in Piechart. Thanks in advance
Hi Saml. thank you for your question. In Chart.js the Pie chart and Doughnut chart have the same structure code wise. (Only difference is the hole in the center ). When you follow this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YcRj52VovYQ.html Just insert type 'pie' instead of 'doughnut' and you will see it convert into a pie chart.
Hi Aryanti, thank you for your question. Chartjs version 3.x should all work. As the reason they increase the version from 3.x to 3.x++ is to introduce non-breakable new features. While Chart.js 2, to Chart.js 3 does have breakable changes.
Hi Luke, thank you for your question. I have created an answer video covering your question here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OBc_eR9IeoI.html It will show you how to add more grid lines to the scales.
@@_KASM_ thank you for your kind gesture. Happy to hear the video helped you out. I have PayPal option on my website. You can find it here on this link: www.chartjs3.com/support-my-work/
Chart.js 4 has been launched just recently. Many plugins are in the process of updating. You need to test some does work right away out of the box others are being updated.
@@bagasnuralim7679 best solution is a callback where we filter the value of 0 or NaN out from the data labels. Study the formatter callback here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g7m6Is6eTxo.html
