How to Sidechain Reverb in FL Studio 

it‘s automatic if you already route your vocal to the effect

@TrapKeyLow no i left click or basically just route it, not sidechain, then i have a parallel signal that is only reverb ( mix on reverb plugin 100%) and the limiter afterwards, you can then choose the source signal as the sidechain imput and you have a sidechained reverb signal ready for what you need it for

Not all 3rd parties have sidechain capabilities... Theres only 1 waves compressor I know of that does. Fabfilter pro dynamic is the best for this.

im still learning as well, but my thinking is that this would allow the reverb to play at a higher volume while the vocal itself is not playing, but will duck the reverb volume when the vocal comes back in to ensure that the reverb isnt clashing w the main vocal

Less cpu takeup, You don’t have to add a reverb to every different vocal you can just turn the knob up.

Not true. You can make FL reverb 2 sound great on any source if you take the time to tweak the settings. @blackorangegraphite

@@MrReese-sl9ek I didn't said you can't get decent sound of it. The algorithm of this reverb sounds really bad compared to other algorithmic reverbs.
