HOW TO SIDELOAD APPS ONTO NVIDIA SHIELD TV, EASY WAY! GIVEN ALL THE ISSUES WE'VE BEEN HAVING WITH DOWNLOADER, PUFFIN TV N A HOST OF OTHERS. I FOUND A BETTER WAY TO INSTALL APPS ON FIRESTICK OR NVIDIA SHIELD TV.
Yo your the man👍 I was able to sideload Stadia and xcloud to my shield TV pro so now I can stream games right on my big screen anytime I want without buying anymore equipment. Which is exactly what Ive been trying to do awesome. Now I can save space on my xbox hard drive
I couldn't get mine to connect, but if you just get your IP address from your Nvidia shield and go to settings on the easy fire tools and input your IP address there and then exit from settings in easy fire tools and click the button in the upper right corner it then binds them!! Hope this helps b.c I couldn't get the easy fire tools to see my Nvidia shield at all...they were on same network etc, but the IP address was the way to go!!!
Subscribed because of this video. Finally got to try app and I was able to uses my phone and load app to my Amazon FireStick. But still plan on getting a Nvidia Shield because of this app...
This did not work for me for installing the Nest app on the Shield Pro. After installing, it's just the version that was there before that does not allow you to sign in to Nest with a Google Account. It's the old version prior to migration from Nest to Google, which makes me think that this process just tells the Shield to go download the Nest app rather than sideloading the mobile version that allows for a Google sign in?
Hi brother , thank you very much for your video on how to setup it up on the Nvidia Shield . The picture that came up that we saw ,was it Black Widow ? and can you let me know how to put it on my android phone or on the Nvidia Shield 👍
Sup bro ,this app dope ! Have a question ..I've had my Nvidia for 11/2 ,never had problems until now ..I keep getting a pop up say " you dont have an app for this " ..When I'm on Netflix or 3rd party apps ..Cant figure out what it is ..If you have any suggestions, I'd Appreciate it.
Hey Thomas Corcoran, try toggling network debugging off then on again in developer options. Then force stop the easy fire tools app then restart and try the connection again. I hope this helps n thx for watching Peace!
I followed your directions but after it uploads the file its not found on my nvidia shield. Does it go to a certain folder? I see this was made 2 years ago?
My phone is on the same network, Shield has Network Debugging switched on. Easy Fire Tools on phone does not see Shield. What should the IP address in EFT connection settings be set to?
Hey Ian Skinner, try toggling off network debugging on the SHIELD then toggle it back on, then disconnect your wifi on your phone then turn it back on, force close the Easy Fire Tools app then restart and try to connect again. Hope this helps n thx for watching, let me know if it works. Peace!
Hey if you can't find your app once it's been installed successfully try this third party app home screen - github.com/sphinx02/AppStarter/releases/download/v4.0/AppStarter-v4.0.apk Install this app on your SHIELD TV then open to see your app you can't find. Hope this helps
You would used the same method on your firestick, instead of turning on network debugging you would turn on debugging and unknown sources in the firestick settings (my settings). Then use the same method to connect to the firestick.
My tablet is writing this “You should try to disable the integrated version in settings to use the systemwide version “ my question is how and where Tablet or Shield TV🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
Nice. How do you uninstall sideloaded apps, cause they don't show up in the regular app list of the shield??? I can find them with the sideloader app , but that's to open them...
Wat up James Davis Jr. Just go over to settings scroll down to (apps), select it then click on (all apps) then scroll down to the app you want to uninstall or force stop or clear cache. That's it, hope this helps n thx for watching, Peace!
Hey Octavio Venegas, sorry your having issues but some apps unfortunately are only made for phones. This may be 1 of them, I haven't seen this app on any android devices. Thx for watching. Peace!
I tried to sideload xbox pass from my android phone onto my nvidia tv but it does not display app even though it says sucessfull install? I have tried sideloading other apps and no problems ?
Hey HUMPDY NUMPDY DUMPDY, 1- Just go to settings in the top right corner then scroll down to apps then all apps, then scroll down till you find your installed app. 2- To see all your apps go to play store and install (Sideload Launcher) from the play store. So when you sideload apps they will appear right in the app. I hope this helps n thx for watching Peace!
Hey Eric Mojet, 1- just go to settings in the top right corner then scroll down to apps then all apps, then scroll down till you find your installed app. 2- To see all your apps go to play store and install (Sideload Launcher) from the play store. Hey Don Kiddrick, the app is for your Android phone not NVIDIA SHIELD. You have to download from play store on your phone or tablet then you can transfer files from that device to the NVIDIA SHIELD. Hope this helps n thx for watching Peace!
Wat up Kid Poker, naw you can install just about any app. The only thing I've noticed is you might have an issue if the app was Only made for a phone. Other than that you should be fine. Thx for watching Peace!
Sup man, just wanted to know if the xfinity stream app will work if I do that to the Nvidia Shield. Also do I need a launcher that you was talking about?
Wat up badots415, you don't need a launcher its strictly optional. But you will need a special moded Xfinity app to use on the SHIELD though. I can post a how to when I get home if you want. Thx for watching!
@@DJKELLZ55 Thanks for getting back to me. Would love for you to post the how to xfinity stream for me. I'm new to the nvidia shield but learning from videos like yours. Appreciate you
Hey Lee Schofield, make sure that the (Network Debugging) is turned on on your SHIELD TV. Also make sure your phone or tablet is using the same wifi, and turning the network debugging off n on. Hopefully this helps n thx for watching Peace!
