@@frigidpeons4816 cool, ive build a box for mine to try and reduce the noise, just waiting for the few pieces of hardware from amazon. My s9j runs so hot aleady i dont want to put lower rpm fans on it. Wish me luck 🤣

Yeah, the fan was ment to silence the miner not make it more quite. With the Custom F/W it operates more efficiently so Temps are pretty solid

u could even just put a couple nuts on the screw first, effectively shortening the length.

Only size available at home depot that would fit. They have shorter ones but they were not in stock

It's significantly quieter. You don't need the original high cfm high noise fans if you use the Hive FW

@@frigidpeons4816 i used brains os and yes we can used them like this but for me the performance is lower. (i talk for the s9 and biger one like s17+)
