I just love how you craft and make these cosplays designs and outfits. I stick with reviewing anime and instead of cosplaying as one lol but the amount of work and passion you pour onto these really shows Hendo!
If you attached a layer of foam, cut out the pattern, then heated the worbla, it would help out tremendously in preventing it from unintentionally warping or drooping. I would also add the bonus of adding a slight bit of thickness to the mask. I think "Black Cat", from the Spiderman comics would be a great addition to your line-up of costumed characters. Btw.
Hendo i'm a huge My Hero Fan too. I enjoyed watching this tutorial and i think your videos are totally awesome and comforting. You are a true mentor and a mistress of crafting. my favorite characters are Allmight and Bakugo. if had to have a quirk it'd be the ability to shapeshift into a Red humanoid werewolf and in this form i can push the limit of my power without stopping. I'd Call my quirk "Gone Wolf". I'm thinking of doing a cosplay based on this quirk Red Canid would be my hero name. Stay Safe and stay crafty. Peace
I do not follow many cosplayers but I have found the common link between them is the energy they bring (not to say those I do not follow do not have this but it may not have resonated with me) thanks for the video and the vibrancy you bring to it, even for someone who is unlikely to craft (who knows with my bully of a niece ;0 ) it is still a entertaining video.
not sure how it'd work for worbla, but I use an old electric griddle for warming up kydex when making sheaths. it's the same kinda material - plastic that you heat to mould then when it cools, it holds its shape. it gives a real even heat along the entire surface, limits the "hot spots" you can sometimes get with a heat gun.
Black worbla specifically has such a low melting point I have worried about trying to use that wort of thing! I think an issue for the black and tan kinds might also be that it has an adhesive built into it so I'm not sure if it would stick to a kydex and be hard to remove 🤔 of you try it lmk!
Sees worbla at michael's , video saying how to use worbla comes out... I think I'm going shopping~ Batman Beyond Dick Greyson mask anyone... (that one suit ep.)
