We only consider the principal root (positive) when doing square roots as an operation.. But if it is part of an equation, Ex. x² = 32, the negative part will now be considered because it is part of the solution for x.. In the video, we are not solving for x, but simply doing the square root..
@@jpgalo99 Ok, I got it. (I don't know this video's problem considers only positive cases.) If so, I would like you to add the condition "x≧0" to the problems.
