I know you have the little accent in there BUT, your almost surgical precision that you separate the different singers is nothing short of high professionalism. hey Galle, interesting discussion on the major to minor vocals. It might be obvious but sometimes the obvious things are not always easy to understand. Here it goes: Come together is a rock'n'roll song, and it uses power chords, meaning the 5th replaces the 3th (which determines minor or major chords). So this song is neither major nor minor, it's rock n roll and it works for any song with power chords.

It's Paul doing the lower harmony. There was also a higher harmony that also didn't made it through the final mix.

Geoff Emerick said in his book that John sang all of the vocals and even looked over Paul's shoulder to learn the keyboard part and ended up playing it himself. But I do not believe that Paul didn't sing those harmonies....it's obviously him.

I read this as well in Geoffrey Emericks book “Here There and Everywhere”. I can not hear Paul sing on this tune, it sounds so different, but Giles Martin says he does.

Hey, you did a great job again. I'm a big fan of you and your videos. As I think the Abbey Road Album is one of the most excelent examples of brilliant vocal harmonies, espacially on the backside, I'd like to ask you if can do some tutorials of the songs "Because" and "I want you (She's so heavy)". Galleazo, how did you determine which Beatle played the instrumental parts? Obviously, Ringo on drums, why did Paul play two instrumentals? Seems odd at the time the album was produced. BTW, I feel "Abbey Road" and "Revolver" are the two best Beatle albums! Wonderful, as always, my friend!

I know this was true of "The Ballad of John and Yoko", where neither George or Ringo were involved. In fact, it came as a surprise when Paul received a telephone call from John, asking him to help produce a song he'd just written.

I could be wrong but I believe Billy Preston was brought into play keys and help diffuse the tensions in the band. Paul brought him.

G, thank you as always 4 your wonderful videos... always sound so good to my ears. 1 minor comment: I read somewhere ComeTogethr was entirely a project of John&Paul... created during the ending period of the beatles. Paul I heard did the drum & most instruments, during a period when Paul spent more time experimenting in studio than John, making Ringo feel unwanted, etc... Whatever... keep up the good works, my friend. Guitar sounds terrific in this video too.

John HATED doing vocal track overdubs, absolutely hated doing them. Ken Townsend (Abby Road engineer) came up with ADT, Automated Double Tracking which John loved because he didn't have to sing more than once as the ADT supplied an immediate second vocal which was variable in speed. The backup vocal on Come Together is clearly Paul.

Recording engineer Geoff Emerick said that Lennon did all the vocals himself, and when a frustrated McCartney asked Lennon, "What do you want me to do on this track, John?", Lennon replied, "Don't worry, I'll do the [vocal] overdubs on this." Talking about the sessions in a 1970 interview, McCartney said he was disappointed about not singing live with Lennon; "Even on Abbey Road we don't do harmonies like we used to. I think it's sad. On 'Come Together' I would have liked to sing harmony with John and I think he would have liked me to but I was too embarrassed to ask him and I don't work to the best of my abilities in that situation."

Just one thing! You have to try to fix the subtitles! It have to be understood in Spanish! Many Spanish-speaking people who watch your videos would wish to understand what you say at the beginning of the video!
