I just tried all of then for 5 mind each and they were all really uncomfortable... It would definitely take a good bit of practice to be able to handle anything other than just crossing my legs lol😊
Without looking back, walk backwards slowly til your calves touch the border of the chair, then sit down slowly leaving a gap between your back and the back of the chair. You may touch the chair arms to help you sit down...
Cambridge Cross is the best and most comfortable one. Yeah. I personally tried all of them and Cambridgre Cross looks the most modest and is the most comfortable.
Cute video! My mother taught me to never cross my legs at the knee because it can cause broken veins so I’ve never let myself sit that way. Miss manners also says that men nor women should cross their legs at the knee. Men can rest one ankle on one knee like you suggested (but your photos didn’t seem to show) and women may cross their ankles which you demonstrated so beautifully. 😍
Hello Myka, I am 4ft 10" & find it difficult to use any slant while sitting. When I am a guest at a formal event sitting through an event for a long period can be painful as I cannot rest my back to the seat since I need to keep my feet on the floor. What do you suggest?
Hi Myka, I’ve had my fair share trying all the mentioned. I prefer the “Cambridge Cross”. I’m 5’2 in height and the “Sussex Slant” was very uncomfortable for me especially on the train. Also I’ve been told that crossing your leg on top of the other for long periods of time can hinder blood flow so I prefer crossing at the ankles.
It IS actually bad for circulation to cross legs one over the other and this can also do nerve damage, especially for long periods. Crossing at the ankles is better and less damaging.
Girl ! It's a challenge to cross my legs, as a pus size woman. But I've been practicing doing the Cambridge cross, working my way to fully crossing my legs.
Hello , I'm getting married next year. Mine will be a civil wedding and it will be us two spouses and the two witnesses. I ask you for advice. As for lunch we will be in a restaurant and the menu will be à la carte. What do you recommend for the wedding cake? In the sense of how many people do I have to prepare? I thank you for your advice and I thank you in advance!
Double check with the restaurant, they might not let you bring in your own wedding cake and you'll have to go with their dessert options, create a custom dessert option with them, or go to a second location for dessert and champagne
When crossing your legs you should not lean back to cross them, nor should you swing your legs crossed. The manuever should occur gracefully and with little to no upper body movement. Men should not sit cross legged. In speaking of modesty, a woman’s dress or skirt should cover her knee caps
Oh no! Don’t give up! 💕 Everyone’s body is different so sometimes different positions can be more comfortable for different people. The Cambridge Cross is a favorite for many and is equally as elegant! This may be a perfect fit for you. Thank you for watching. ❤️
It's my favorite because I never remember to keep my thighs together as they're quite chubby, and it takes quite an effort and constant force to keep them really together... In this position I can relax a little bit more as gravity does the work
as a male i can say my muscles already hurt by squezing my knees together i really want to sit with my legs crossed like a lady but but.... why does it hurt so much :(.
Just finished the video and there was no option for a woman with big thighs that, of course, can’t do any of this poses. These are only for skinny leg ladies. Any with big thighs or legs cannot do this.
first teach us how to make legs as thin as Megan's😕Because only a very thin girl can sit in this way. With thin legs and without the slightest hint of a tummy
As far as I know that girl, Megan, is royal by marriage, not by blood, so kinda "royal painted" ;-)))) And I'll stop here :-))))) Anyway, big thank you for your time and effort!
Let’s not make markle as a royal example... bcz she really do not signify and exemplify in all actions as a “Royal”. FAR FROM IT. HEAVEN AND EARTH IT IS ! It’s an INSULT FOR ETIQUETTE STANDARDS TO BE MAKING THIS MARKLE WOMAN AS AN EXAMPLE. She is totally too UNCLASSY, too FAR from having Elegance even.
Thank you for your amazing video. I saw already one of these poses before I believe on your Instagram. And I was practising some of these poses at the doctors office. It was a good time as I had to wait for a long time and I wanted to try not to break posture.
