A very simple explanation for PWM VS MPPT: PWM simply controls the voltage, leading to power lost as heat. While MPPT perform step down operation using buck technology, thus increasing the Amps, meaning you wont have power lost

Thank you bro! After much research on charge controllers this exact words you typed was my conclusion. I'd thought that I was the only one seeing both PWM & MPPT CC from this perspective, but now that I've seen someone who also sees it from that same perspective, I'm now convinced that I'm not alone & that I've been right all along...
