How to skateboard for beginners SKATEPARK edition 

I'm in my 40's learning for the first time, and these "how to for adults" videos started up at JUST the right time. I love these.

This is kind of refreshing. A new location with a person we haven't seen in a while.

Started skating at my late 20's and now on my early 30's with a new baby I'm back on the skate, can relate to Chloe. At the beginning everything it's scary😅 First you need to be comfortable riding, the rest will come 👍

ngl this content is better than most of the recent content I have been seeing. I am trying to learn how to rollerblade with aggressive skates at skate parks. I would love to see videos on how to do aggressive skating!

It is scary skateboarding. I get so nervous to go the park every time and I’ve been skating for years. Feel ya girl feel ya. It is a crazy thing to skateboard. A LOT of it is mental and you do definitely need to believe in yourself. You’ve got this Chloe❣️❣️❣️ Stoked for the day you are shredding about, then you get addicted. It’s so fun❣️ Scary but fun 😻🫶💕✨

Thats just like trying to move and ollie, everyone who has experience says its easier to ollie while moving but it literally freaks me out, standing still no problem start moving and I am petrified so i completely understand. That is for sure the hardest part about skateboarding just over coming that fear to progress. You have this Chloe!

Skateboarding isn't just fun, it's REALLY fun!

Maybe sometime you guys can do I " do you see what I see " video on how different people see and utilize areas in parks and street. What might be " usual " thinking for you might be totally out of the box for others.

Hopefully Chloe enjoys skating and doing these. It would be nice to have a weekly segment of her out there. I don’t really care that she bust out extraordinary progression, it just looks fun when she’s out there. This was really cool to see ! Thanks Chloe!

I've been injured countless times doing the simplest things across town over the years. It's validating to see beginners of any background because even as an adult I still harbor fear of flatground after some of my limbs took too much. There's a lot to learn even from watching an experienced skater push and flow between the motions. Some of my favorite all time skate parts are pure style and more so the way tricks are done than the actual tricks themselves. All of it's impressive when it's from the ground up where skating started and always will be.

Im looking forward to the new chapter of this channel. I resubbed for sure!

Hi Aaron, You and Gabe and A Friend got me to start learning riding the skateborad 3 weeks ago, also I got an electric for a daily travel (greenborad, really sweet). I have a question about using the "rooting" to get better stability on the board. You see, I did Yoga & Surfing (separately), Surfing waves is just Amazing! on 10 days per year that you have them. So, What I mean by "rooting" is: Adding more tension between your legs by counter twisting them into the ground. I think in martial arts the method is also used to generate more force to a punch before it's released, and more stability in blocking. Conclusion: "Use rooting for stabilazing on the axis penperdicular to the air-line between the feet". So Aaron, should you use it? and when ? I am now recovering from springing a stabilizing muscle in my left mid-back-hip, that I got from trying a "right lean turn" with "left foot forward" with "grounding towards facing knees". Thanks

Yo AaronI just landed my first pop shuv for the first time! So stoked! First time i actually attempted it too, and i landed it twice in 30 mins of trying! A lot of it was just geting the right rotation and trying to get over my fear of the board being under me and jumping forward 😅🛹

I want to share this with so many people to get them on a board because sk8 is the best thing ever! Yet, I don't want to push people too much, I hope everyone out there who doubts to start with skating will get to make the decision to start. I don't think I ever heard about a person who's regretting it. Only 'regret' I came across that once people start, they wished that they started earlier. I tell you my friends, IT'S NEVER EVER TOO LATE 🥰

Skate a cinder lock with regular trucks or a brick with small trucks

How about go from this to the bowl. Some small half pipe, vert and bowl almost weekly. Let's see progress.
