Thanks for the video. I have found it challenging to draw what I see. Sometimes what comes out of my head comes out better. On paper I found it useful also to ruff it out refine it and line it with ink for the final outline. There is something about watching it take shape with black ink that helps guide my hand for that last little adjustment.

What bushes for procreate do you use

Hey @SoberJoe, can you recommend any physical copy books for freehanding skulls, or other useful tattoo flash? (Panthers, tigers, snakes, gorillas etc) Im reteaching myself everything from the ground up, to improve on freehanding without completely relying on redrawing existing flash. Thank you brother

Great video! Thank you so much, but I prefer drawings painted on paper! I find the technique much more interesting. I state that I have used Wacom graphics tablets for many years cause I have worked in cartoons and videogames so I'm very used to it. Precisely for this reason, seeing the traditional technique fascinates me the most! Sober Joe, just for curiosity, is the 11" or the 12,9" iPad used in the video? Cause in March 2021 Apple will release the new mini-led screen model and I think they will only do the large format, 12.9 inches! I'm thinking about it! 🤔😍
