She redesigned cattle slaughter houses and protocol to be more humane for cattle and other animals. Worth looking into for your field of work perhaps.

They are livestock. Living stock for human consumption. Yes, I agree you should treat them humanely and with respect but they are livestock. Livestock and farm is what led to human’s developing permanent settlements which eventually led to large cities. Which in led to people developing education and universities. Without livestock we would all still be hunter gatherers in the stone age.
