Omg , girl you are taking me back because I used to do this in the early 90's... We did what was called a "Microwave ponytail " where we roller set track hair with lottabody setting lotion then put it in the microwave for a few seconds then either wrap it around while pinning it or glueing it to the base ponytail...I used to wear the hell out of my ponytail too!! Lol... . Love your videos as always & can't wait to see you hit 1 million subscribers because you truly deserve it!💙💚💓

@@tamarag6957 Yessssss lawwd!! When you wanted to give your relaxed hair a rest from relaxers sometimes, just gel up your hair, wrapped that ponytail or get a clip on ponytail & keep it moving!! Even now, I'll go buy a pack of curly hair , gel my hair up , put the curly on a elastic band, then wrap that around my base, and keep it moving..Other than that, I'm in crochet braids 95% of the times..Braidless crochet braids because I can't cornrow.🤤😊

@@Honeyjazz29 I’m sure thinking about putting a quick ponytail in my hair after seeing this video when I take my braids out. It sure brought back memories. Girl You sound like me! I mostly wear crochet too but I can’t cornrow my own head so my sister do my cornrows for me. Her ponytail was too cute, now I want one! 🥰

@@tamarag6957 Girl I cant cornrow- I had a braider that did my crochet for over 11 years but every since the lock down, I had to learn how to do both my daughter's & my hair. Thanks to Tatiuanna's videos & other youtubers, I learned how to do "Braidless crochet ".. I absolutely love it.. I put my hair in 2 Ms. Ceily( The Color Purple) plats then use the crochet hook to put my hair in & keep it moving.. .I love it- I love being able to do it at my convenience..Don't get me wrong, I love my braider, but it was hell most of the times trying to book an appointment with her... Which is why when I did finally get her, I would keep my braids in for a few months at a time . Now with this braidless crochet, I can do it as often or not as I want to AT MY CONVENIENCE in the privacy & comfort in my home..I can't stress that enough...I may get back in contact with her but I also have to admit, doing my own hair has also allowed me to pay closer attention to it and monitor it better because I can do it more frequently now to keep it in better health.. .Take care girl & here's to wishing you a blessed 2022!!🙏💚💙🙂🙂

You did that!! Beautiful!! Back in the 70s the made buns like that. It was already made. All you had to do was push the clips in the front and back and pull the strings to tighten it. But her hair was much fuller and had more bouncy curls.
