How to slow stitch a fabric tag, craft with me as we create something different for your junk journals. You could make this a pocket too.
Alternatively you can sew fabric pieces on your machine and If you don’t want to sew then you can always use glue.
I am new to slow stitching and have had many requests to show my process, so as a beginner I am learning so let’s try this together.
Using an easy straight stitch we will add fabric scraps and then start to embellish, I tried to do some embroidery and as you can see I need loads more practice.

Hello from Ontario, Canada. It's been a couple years since you posted this video so I'm probably a tad late being helpful, lol but while I was watching I remembered the flower stitch is called a lazy Daisy and now I think I want to practice making some. I have some pretty variegated embroidery cotton just waiting to be used 😊

Carol, you did great! It really is similar to making junk journals only with fabric , notions and thread! Do you put a stiff back on the reverse side? Your tag is feminine and pretty!

This is absolutely Love this!!! I'm all about recycling & repurposing all I can. I actually took part in my first colab **#dtaddictiins** & shared all my containers I love for storing things. I also showed repurposing the empty Coffee container for holding all my colored pencils. I also use empty food cans for storage it's just great to not put everything in the landfill. Carol. A little tip cut a longer thread and double it won’t come out your needle then. I would love to show you embroidery stitches if we lived nearer. I think your needle is a little too large you seem to be gathering it. I always use a size 10 needle it’s very tiny lovely needle but very difficult to thread ❤

Hi Carol! I love your slow stitching! It looks so authentic! It has more character than machine stitch! The fabrics you chose to work with are really pretty. Love the look of this! I am sorry your live didn't work out! I had it on my calendar, but found myself busy with the kids that weekend doing a bunch of Halloween stuff. I think you need to give it a try again...maybe the problem was busy weekend activities. I like your box of little flowers.

Thanks Jovi yes the slow stitching is addictive I’ve been doing a lot of it this week to de-stress ! Learning a few embroidery stitches. No worries 😁I forget how big a deal Halloween is over in the US 😊 I thought well I’ll do a video anyway as so many people wanted to see. 💕
