Let’s slow stitch a little field of flowers landscape with some trees and a mountain.
What a relaxing place to be, breathing in the sweet scent of the flowers that surround you. It’s peaceful here. Imagine all the little bees and butterflies that live here. How wonderful.

I will show you how to do hand sewing, fabric appliqué, and needle turn appliqué using mostly scrap fabric. My videos have no chatting in them only the occasional subtitle when I feel the need to provide a little more information. I hope you’ll be able to learn something simply by watching me stitch without words.

That is so beautiful, I am just starting my journey, I used to do machine embroidery but due to chemo I get too overwhelmed with it so I am desperately trying hand stitches searching UTube so many different ways I am sure I love the little landscapes so thank you 💖💖💖

I think Jen is the most relaxed slow stitcher, beside Lynn, at Paper Hoarder Anonymous. I want to make everything they do. Hope you get well soon. 💜

Hi Jen: This is so stunning! Reminds me of the flower fields in Carlsbad, CA. Only live ten minutes from there. If you Google it, you’ll see what I mean. I would have to say this is my favorite. 💜😎🇺🇸

Wow! I googled it and those are beautiful fields of flowers. You’re so lucky to live nearby.

What are you going to do with all the little landscape squares?
@cookingjennfer

I was planning to make fabric books out of them as I have done with the Roxy’s journals of stitchery. I enjoy flipping through them. I could also frame them or possibly sell some. They’re also good for bookmarks and greeting cards.

I am thinking of the tulip fields with Mt. Rainier in the background ... they must have been as beautiful as what you have just stitched. I also liked the way that the flowers in the back were teeny, tiny, coming forward as they got bigger. You have a good spacial eye. You do know that you are doing some good engineering with your landscapes, right?

Thank you! I had a few tulips in my garden a few weeks ago. I just potted up some petunias and am waiting for my marigolds to grow.

@@cookingjennfer I worked in a farm greenhouse one summer ... I like growing plants ... but, now I think I understand why you make such pretty stitched flowers. Petunias and marigolds were very popular at our backcountry nursery.

Hi Jen, this is gorgeous❣the colours...the stitching...created such a peaceful scene. 🤗🕊 Tell me did you make the white markings on the blue sky fabric and if so did you use paint? Thankyou 👋🌻🦋
@cookingjennfer
@cookingjennfer Год назад
Thank you! Actually that was just the pattern on the fabric when I bought it but what if you get blue fabric and splatter it with acrylic paint or bleach? 🤔
